Good. The road need to be redesigned to force motorised vehicles to slow down/stop.
Police not enforcing rules at stop and give way junctions doesn’t help either.
'Get home a few minutes late, but get home' is not a good slogan. Those who would be delayed by improved cycling infrastructure are those in motor vehicles, whereas those risking not making it home are cyclists.
Bike lanes is what they used the road tax for instead of the roads
A simplistic comment because many cyclists are also drivers and pay ‘road tax’ (which is actually vehicle excise duty btw).
*PromoSM* 😄
No such thing as dangerous junctions, just dangerous road users. Most of them are cyclists.
How many cyclists KSI other road users vs motor vehicle users?
@@FlyingAt30000Micrometres How many actions of dangerous cycling that cause accidents go unreported?
@@drummerjo571 just be realistic though, we know that far more people are killed by bad car drivers than cyclists - that was the point.
@@rtan451 But my point is that the results on that question are majorly skewed because of the lack of traceability of cyclists.
@@drummerjo571 ...because the consequences aren't as bad when its a cyclist.
