Looked like shepherd didn't really get hurt too bad by the heli crash. He could still run away just fine while Soap had to limp all the way over to him and price presumably the same since it took forever to get there.

It's moments like this. Moments like this that so many other games for years tried to imitate, tried to get that same feeling and failed. It's moments like this why Call of Duty will never die.

Yeah when Shepard stabbed soap it made a weak spot and when makarov revealed he knew yuri and rigged soaps and yuri’s sniper spot and exploded it it actually opened the knife wound on soap and the blood loss is what killed him

You may hate him but you have to admit that shepherd is worthy of the title general. Even after surviving a helicopter crash he was able to beat up 2 fully trained and seasoned in battle special force agents.
It helps that they were injured and shepherd didn’t look that hurt, but your point stands.

For people who doesn't know about the 30,000 Men, it was the mission in cod 4: MW (shock and awe) where you plays a USMC Paul Jackson where in the end they try to save a pilot and succeeded but failed in escaping the nuke detonated by Makarov.
Also the overlord guy in the American missions in cod4 is shepherd

Judging by the rumors, there's a high likelihood that these were all remastered at the same time, back when MWR came out bundled with Infinite Warfare. So they'll probably release it next year, campaign only.

The story of original Modern Warfare trilogy is just so EPIC! A lot of the characters are entertaining and there’s so many moments that just make you go O.o
This game knows how to make you hate a character so much, yet feel so satisfied once they're dead.

Love the little cycle of revenge that happened there. Shepherd's trying to get revenge for all the troops he lost from that nuke but in the process betrays us, the Omnipotent Player by killing Roach and Ghost, leading us to exact our revenge on Shepherd for killing the character we were playing as and the dude with a cool mask.
