  • Why LUCAS VAZQUEZ is REAL MADRID' UNDERRATED HERO!
Lucas Vazquez! Fans adore him, call him "Lord" and the legend! And it's not just because he delivered an incredible performance in the latest el clasico by earning a penalty, scoring a goal and giving the match-winning assist to Jude. In this video, we are about to tell and prove to you why Lucas Vazquez is the heart of the team, a true invisible hero with big cojones!
Lucas Vazquez vs Manchester City and Barcelona
Last week, Lucas Vazquez showed what it means to be a real Real Madrid daddy! In the Champions League quarter-finals against Manchester City, he:
    - Rallied the team around him and gave them a pep talk ahead of a wildly tense penalty shootout!
    - Then he did some kick-ups right before taking his shot.
    - He nailed his shot, putting Los Blancos ahead...
    - And helped his side advance to the semi-finals!
Without any doubt or fear on his face. May you all be blessed with 1% of the confidence of Lucas Vazquez!
While celebrating the triumph over Man City, Real Madrid supporters remembered another time when Vazquez scored after some ball juggling in the UCL final versus Atletico back in 2015-16, and it shows that after all these years, Lucas' steely character hasn't been lost!
Lucas Vázquez is not afraid of pressure. Pressure is scared of him!
And a few days later, Vazquez, unexpectedly for many, appeared in Real Madrid's El Clasico starting eleven against Barcelona, leaving Dani Carvajal on the bench. Fans had doubts about the correctness of this decision, but what a show Lucas put on once again!
Within 90 minutes, Vazquez earned a penalty for the first goal, scored the second goal himself and assisted Jude Bellingham in the third one! Real Madrid outplayed Barça with 3-2, and the talented Englishman couldn't help but post the following based phrase on his Instagram after the end of the match: "Lucas Vazquez you f--king legend".
Carlo Ancelotti did not remain silent either: "Let me mention Lucas Vázquez. What a player! His level is very high. He competes with Carvajal who is one of the best in the world. Dani could have played but Lucas is in very good form," told Don Carlo.
Indeed, only a true legend is capable of playing El Clásico with such statistics as this unfazed Spaniard: 1 goal, 1 shot, 1 assist, 2 key passes, 9 duels won, 4 tackles, 0 times dribbled past, 1 penalty won!
By the way, take a look at the statistical ratings Vazquez is receiving this season. Is he experiencing a second youth? Guys, we should definitely pay respect to Lucas with likes for such amazing displays!
You see, in the post-match interview, it became clear where Real Madrid's footballers get their powerful mentality from: "We are still tired from Man City's game, but we knew that today was La Liga's final. We had to win.
With 5 minutes left, we were all talking about going for the goal, that's what this club, this shield, represents, always winning, always fighting and never giving up. We want to win EVERYTHING," Vazquez stated with emotion.
However, even after this unique contribution against Barcelona, for some reason, Lucas was still not named the man of the match, which seems to be the recurring theme of his entire career...
Vazquez's career at Real Madrid and Spain
Lucas Vazquez is always in the shadows, always underestimated, but always proving to be Real Madrid's best assistant when things get tough. He was educated in the youth academy of the Royal Club and has always been loyal to it:
"I've been a Real Madrid fan ever since I was young. My dad and my uncle are Madrid and they instilled me with madridista blood. Raúl was the star in those days and he's the absolute idol. I used to watch games at the Bernabéu and say: 'I hope I can be out there one day,'" Lucas recalls.
His hopes were heard in the 2015-16 season! Zinedine Zidane gave Vazquez a chance to become a first team regular alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, Sergio Ramos and other Blancos icons! Lucas netted his first goal on December 30, 2015, replacing Karim Benzema in the last 15 minutes of the La Liga tie against Real Sociedad, which the Merengues won 3-1.
During the same campaign, Vazquez featured in 7 Champions League fixtures and, together with his team, achieved a victory in the final over Atletico Madrid. A simple hope led him to the trophy every footballer dreams of!
Vazquez had an equally successful start to the next season. While playing in the UEFA Super Cup clash against Sevilla, Lucas gave a great assist to Sergio Ramos in stoppage time and thus helped the Whites to take the matter to extra time, where the team eventually secured a 3-2 win! On October 26, 2016, Vazquez penned a new contract valid until 2021.
Today, his legacy at Real Madrid can only be described as "fantastic" - 16 years at the club, 343 appearances, 35 goals, 63 assists, 18 trophies and, most importantly, huge love from the fans!

@@atharvavanmali5560 exactly 😂 that's the difference between Real Madrid all these other football clubs they don't give up that's what I noticed during the Man City game I could see the Man City players starting to look frustrated and angry because they knew they were losing and Real Madrid on the other hand were going to the stands cheering on their crowd getting the fans excited and Lucas just kissed the ball and smiled and told Jude to take the third pen 😆 that's why Real Madrid won
