For over a decade, the Acadian trio Vishtèn has dazzled audiences with its fiery blend of traditional French songs and original instrumentals that fuse Celtic and Acadian genres with a modern rock sensibility and indie-folk influences. This band from Canada’s east coast has been recognized as an ambassador of Francophone culture around the world. I had Vishten over touring my „Celtic Spring 2013”, they also had been guests at our wedding during „Celtic Colours”-festival at Cape Breton and we recently reunited in Canadas east during „Showcase PEI”

Sorry I missed the live performance last evening, but I'm so glad to have a chance to watch and listen now. Wonderful playing, great, rhythmic music and singing, not to mention the classy percussive dancing. Mighty, and thanks for the good energy.
