- Drew is at a 900 year old Abbey in Somerset where he hopes to strike a deal. Later, he travels to a pedal museum in East Sussex and takes a trip down memory lane.
Drew Pritchard, the owner of one of the UK's largest decorative salvage yards, is always on the lookout for new items to replenish his stock, and he has no qualms about scouring the countryside for them. This series follows Drew as he searches for old and lost pieces of history throughout the world, including some opulent estates. But locating them is only half the battle; Drew must persuade the owner of each object to sell it to him for a good price, and then it's off to the scrap yard, where his team restores it to its former glory before selling it for profit.

Simply just my favorite show!
Lovely rescues! They have now been saved. Bless Drew and Rebecca.
Thank you 💝 love this show👍 I learn so much from Drew and team. 💖🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷
Ooohhh Drew! You absolutely tickled me! You completely radiated while in the kit car museum! Brilliant! Your joy literally leaps through the screen!
Pritchard has genuine knowledge and pays rather well. Fair dealer.
I never realized there were so many stately homes in Britain as this series reveals. I'm glad to see most are open to the public. I can't wrap my mind around what it would be like to be born and brought up in one.
Beautiful but it seems to me that most are not exactly cosy - and probably difficult to heat and cool ... and could be a long hike to the kitchen, or the toilet ...
They had the money from the empire to spend.
Do you not understand that because of misogyny, you would have inherited NONE OF IT?... Why would you want a taste of something you can never obtain?.
It's all the riches stolen from the poor. It's actually sad to see
Thank you for such a brilliant show. I love the scenery of all the gorgeous countryside of England , Wales & Scotland 🇬🇧🏴🏴You & Tee always put a smile on me face with your friendly banter with each other...funny
The antique horse tricycle was a really unique find.
17:24 "We're going to see *Phil Collins* , this could be the *Genesis* of a new collection."
As an American, the VW bus with all the windows,
What's the most amazing thing, and you didn't even pay it any attention ! 👇😯
🇺🇸👈🤠 outstanding !
Love the little waste bin with A.M. Street's poem on it. 'Resemble not the slimy snails...' Drew, I don't know if you read these, but if the seat belt chafes your neck like mine does, (You're always pulling the chest belt aside). Find one of those belt key clips that are a flattened 'S' shape. You can hook it up under the lap belt and then pull the chest belt down and up into the other side, close to the buckle. You are still quite safe in an accident, as the clip will 'spring' off and the belt will lock, but you can now adjust it so it doesn't ride on your neck. 🤠
I imagine it would be amazing to see all the odd bits found down around inside all of your wonderful upholstered chairs. Way more than I have- I did find some good ones.
Been here since 1979--hope to get it straight soon!! Best line ever
Drew's partner is quite the sartorial specimen!
He has a very quick wit all done in harmless fun
My thanks, appreciation and respect to you, sir. I wish you eternal happiness, health and peace, success and progress in your work. Accept my regards.
In a way the gentleman who had the museum is like a hoarder. They are emotionly attached to everything!
The pedal car museum was really nice. I was surprised that he didn't buy the Ferrari pedal car.
Thanks for the upload!
I can only imagine the cost $ of maintaining some of there estates
The horse bike was a reproduction from Bali. He over paid for that by 225 pounds. They are literally made by their thousands and the market has been flooded with them.
Hobbit land. Beautiful. Love this show. Next.....Hiclea castle. 🦋💟☮️🦋
So really rich people don't bother about makeup and hair, garish fashion brands or talking downs? We've been lied to!
She is born rich... not married rich... there's a difference... I always ask myself if I would have born rich what would I do... probably eat.. eat a lot and get fat... because who needs a man when you got kching...
Shout out to him for not tryna Rob her. She had no idea about anything. Neither do I, but still.
In France the windows chairs are called canapé! The meridienne have a similar look but have one side more elevated than the other. A banquette have usually a "dossier" a back seat! The baroque style didn't have a dossier but were more shorter than the canapé or meridienne, more like a comfortable chair for 1 person.
Did anyone happen to notice a Kidallac? I got a used one for Christmas In maybe 1959 or 60. No electric or spare, just the basic one with the distinctive fins. Gone but not forgotten!
Another good laugh.Rebecca looked at two really tatty loungers and said they were " la creme de la creme " lol !!!
Drews profit margin seems to be between roughly 60-75%. The profit margin seems to vary between purchases. It’s much higher than I initially guesstimated at 30%. I gather it needs to be that high because he not only needs to cover his shop and payroll costs, but also all the travel he does. Anybody have anything to add to this? Anybody in the antiques trade or business persons out there to comment? I find business teally interesting.
Enjoy the series.But really stools,firewood chairs,same o same o.LOVE the unusal
sad that furniture that must stay with the house is not properly shown ...what good is it in a junk room? perhaps redo some of the store rooms with the furniture?
He enjoys while he works.
A boy can never have enough toys.....but blimey! This car collector can do with selling some to Drew.
16:04 "Pièce de résistance" 16:23 "Crème de la crème"
Phil Collins - "this could be the Genesis" Anyone? Anyone?
Ничего не понял но было интересно
It's sad..all the looted riches handed down for generations.
Yes, the smell.
W.O.W.
👍❤😀
What does the white Numbered TA tag mean? I didn't understand that part.
The house and furniture have been registered. That is why it is a grade two listed building.
@@andytrujillo2935 Thank you for that info!
Same dam commercials!
Terrible profit margins given their high over head.
I have often wondered about that myself. All those wages, the petrol and possibly accommodation, the running costs of the business..... it never adds up for me.
Haunted/chairs of the dead?
Жалко, что нет перевода.
Faux Rattan not Bamboo... 😊
Faux bamboo, not rattan!
Phil Collins, skinflint
how ridiculous you own the furniture but cant sell it. you can put it in a room to never be seen and eventually fall apart and be lost but you cant sell it.
Why ? Oh Why ‼️ Do people call this guy to sell their unwanted items than don’t sell him a bare minimum of the items they called him about
Then
He who has no past has no future.
