    Hey, i don't know how much success and experience you have at real life events, but on the take of "if it's not a meta deck, i don't really care", my personal experience at events was overpreparing for meta and losing to rogue recently! at the last regional and national i went to, i beat every tenpai/snakeeyes/voiceless i faced but i got farmed by decks i hadn't prepared for, especially in earlier rounds when you can't guarantee you will face strong decks, so be careful with that!
    The video is nice, very cool insights

    Cosmic blazer is not a once per turn, so you can technically negate any number of times during the end phase

    Piri Reis Map is a better starter than the archetype search since the archetype search has to have a spellcaster/illusion on the field to activate. Plus your main starter IS Asteria which is your only normal summon. Silve normal summon search into Legend gets you so little in comparison unless you somehow start with toy box engine as well but the game is about odds (and before you say they can ash asteria, they can also ash Silve or Legend). Legend is really only good after you've searched for it for discard cost and search extension (which you'd have monsters already on the field).

      the tales ratios in ocg topping deck lists range from 1 to 3. in pure builds, the ratio of tales is based on how many wf names you are playing, and if you are on rabbit (illusion). astellar is better than silvy in pure versions assuming access to toys, otherwise it loses to the same things as silvy (astellar sending soldier doesnt lose to anything because the soldier will get you rucia, for example, if you have box)
      one of the main issues with reis map is that you lose to droll. WF does NOT lose to droll in either the toy or the runick build if you sequence correctly. i have a video on droll also.
      but yea if youre optimizing and you dont care about budget then many lists will cut tales to 1 and silvy/rucia to 1/2 to fit fiendsmith stuff etc.

      @@BimYGO Silvy into Legend also loses to droll? What argument can be said to Astellar can be said to Silvy but better, because Astellar gives you a body on the field (including a search because it SS Silvy). Yes other engines come into play for starters, but as a main starting point for WF engine as a whole SHOULD be Astellar (or Elzette if no other option)because free body + search.
      Piri is another searcher for Astellar for consistency sake not as a "YOU MUST DO IT". If you have Astellar it's a discard fodder for her effect so win/win. If you get droll'd your not making much plays left anyways but you can still synchro or link with Astellar (not with Elzette because of adding card to hand).
      In terms of budgeting, yea, if you got A LOT of money to spend you'd probably wouldn't be playing White Forest to begin with to win, and if you did, you would as you said be playing fiendsmith or something else with it. But piri reis map is a cheap effective search for your main starting piece so it's almost essentially a must have for consistency sake.

      @@m3anman if you open astellar box, you astellar send soldier to special silvy and add woes - if they droll you before soldier triggers the worst case with no extenders is something like bagooska woes pass
      normal silvy add tales is indeed the absolute worst possible way to play into droll - but you can also just not search with silvy depending on the rest of your hand. in my droll video (ignore first combo) there are quite a few lines that play around droll
      i wont try to oversell this tho as you obviously cant play around multiple things at the same time with this deck
      the reason i say map plays harder into droll than other things is you didnt even normal yet - at least normal silvy search woes gives you an interruption, but droll on map is nothing

  • @SimpleMath98
    @SimpleMath98 Před 2 měsíci

    I would recommend more piri reis at least 2 of them because it's a spell and a starter so if you don't run for time it's a nice option (i would recommend 3 copies for budget players cause, maybe asteria is too expensive)

      i think whether it is good or not in ww will have more to do with how it helps play through interruptions and less to do with what it looks like uninterrupted

      that's right
      the comment i make on recognizing what the win con is is basically: what are the chances his unknown card stops my win con if i blazar the called by? pretty close to 0 but not 0. what are the chances called by resolving stops my win con? actually 0

  • @JackZanna
    @JackZanna Před 2 měsíci

    Do you think Sillhouhatte rabbit will be worth in this deck? A generic link 2 that can set Azurune, wich after sending itself to GV can negate a special summon even under skill drain (cause of the self tribute to GV)
    I ask in search for an alternatives to little night (more cheaper) wich can still clear my board by useless monsters and have some interesting plays (even of is not comparable to S:P)
    I know the trap card is a brick going second, but i don’t know, maybe it could work

    • @JackZanna
      @JackZanna Před 2 měsíci

      Maybe the new Sillhouhatte trap card is a better option instead of Azurune, but it didn’t convince me at all (loses by self skill drain, effect negation only work on summon after the resolution of an eventually chain…), do you have any thoughts about it?

    • @BimYGO
      @BimYGO  Před 2 měsíci

      i would not play it for the brick in general. if you dont have sp, i dont think you need to try to replace it per se, and you can play formula synchron to turn diabell into chaos angel in your opponent's turn as the single target removal
      however, you could consider siding azurune or the other trap for going first, and take out a breaker for it. if you main it its a brick, and im not a fan, but it is a fine option

    Man any alternative to triple tactics thrust? Too expensive for my wallet ahah

    • @BimYGO
      @BimYGO  Před 2 měsíci

      prosperity can be played at 3 in almost any ww build, and you can play 3 talents if you have access to that. prosperity was reprinted so should be cheap and talents is cheaper than thrust. you can also play other flexible breakers like super poly, but then you need to cut two extra deck slots for mudragon and garura, which you can do by taking out the crimson package or berserker/gallant granite depending on the build

  • @christophspringdemellochri8537

    Bro, diabells is completly broken. No combo you can make with blazar or crimson dragon makes your board better than simply pass the turn with diabells on the board. You must think on alternatives to combo without synchro off diabells.

    • @BimYGO
      @BimYGO  Před 2 měsíci +1

      not sure if you listened to the commentary or not, but the point of the blazar combo isnt just to make blazar for no reason; its making blazar specifically when you have access to skill drain, which is one of the best cards in the entire game and a million times better than diabell by herself.
      i assure you that against a competent chimera player, you arent going to get much value out of diabell on field, especially since silvera doesnt stop your opponent from using face down monsters as fusion materials
      id recommend thinking about your gameplay based on the current gamestate rather than learning a cookie cutter combo and repeating that every game
      also, keep in mind that crimson dragon for crystal wing by targeting diabell is fundamentally worse because blazar is what plays under your own skill drain out of turn
      also take into consideration that having risette in hand the entire time means that i can turn off skill drain even more easily than usual during my own turn.

      @BimYGO  Před 2 měsíci +1

      you decide whether you make this board based on your meta/event. in this case, i am showcasing why blazar+drain is useful. spoly is not common on omega unranked right now, but if youre concerned about that you can play around board breakers with the combo i showed that searches nib and veiler (i have a video on it also)
