We didn't see the theatrical ending of Terminator 2 before watching the sequels...
This was recorded weeks ago so we didn't see your comments in time.
We haven't seen Terminator: Dark Fate yet, so we'll make sure to watch the theatrical ending of T2 before then!

I love this movie for the fact that it starts the causality loop that sets off this universe. General Brewster and his program sets off the war. John would have learned everything about Skynet from him as his son in Law (at least have his notes depending if he survived the initial onslaught). Skynet then tries to save itself by sending a terminator to kill Sarah and I strongly believe that Reese is not john`s original father in the first loop around, it could have been Sarah`s cancelled date from the first movie and Reese being infatuated with Sarah ended up changing the future by becoming John`s father (This would resolve the paradox of the father being born after the son). I also believe that by the time we see the first terminator we have already been through the causality loop 3 to 4 times (with time travel movies one never knows where it really begins). Anyway, this is how I try to resolve some of the plot holes in the franchise, rather than just trusting the timey whimey stuff (Dr. who reference). Can`t wait for the rest of the franchise (Also there`s a Fox tv series The Sarah Conner Chronicles)
Greetings from Finland guys!!! I like how invested you all are in this franchise!!! Fun fact that gas station is the same in all first three movies!!! Cannot wait to see your reactions to Terminator Salvation!!! "i'll be back" 😎
Oh ok... that's awesome then.
You guys are great
Salvation is a good follow up to this movie.
_"This was recorded weeks ago so we didn't see your comments in time."_
One has to wonder what the point is in leaving comments at all, anymore...
Ya, know, other than feeding the algorithm for ya.
This reminds me of the recent explosion of so many different streaming platforms (Netflix, Prime, Apple+, etc...), nobody can afford to sub to them all. But now it's gone absolutely insane... Sure, Patreon may be good for business, but it fails miserably at interactive continuity for anyone who can't afford to patronize hundreds of separate YT channels!
Of course none of you are responsible for this, yet you just spent an hour sounding like idiots because of its delaying effect. The downside of playing with Time, I guess... 🙄
don’t ever feel bad for not watching a film before. these authentic reactions are providing joy for so many people.
💯
Just a reminder that the continuity between T2 and T3 is based on the regular edition of T2, and not the special edition. T2 regular edition had no discussion of John in politics or the passing of the date of judgement day.
Rise of the Machines is underrated. I liked Nick Stahl as John Connor, and the ending was ballsy.
Yea I thought he was decent, maybe better than Christian Bale? I thought he would be sooo magnetic! But he was only alright. 😑
I liked him too, can't remember which movie he was in with James Marsden and Katie Holmes but I really liked that movie.
Disturbing behavior.
omg i'm so glad i'm not alone - i really wish they'd done a continuation on from this with John Stahl... showing him making his way through the initial fallout... how the machines are very very quickly gathering steam and building newer versions of their hunter killer tech... can you imagine a giant version of one of those ground based hunter killers crashing through a building with laser sights targeting people and making its way up the remains of a street trying to take fighters down.. the terminators aren't yet there its all mostly going up against the faceless mechanised tech. Dunno - really think they could play with that.
Highly underrated. John was great, Kate was great, the terminatrix was great. Everything was top notch. This was a great sequel and I think time has proven it’s the best follow up to T2. The craziest thing is it did all the things the other ones tried to do with introducing new characters. Kate was the most believable strong female heroine addition and the terminatrix was the best use of an advanced terminator within the story imo.
In T1 & T2 Arnie was a T-800. In this one he is a T-850. An upgraded chassis and an upgraded knowledge base. That's why he knows things the previous one didn't.
This movie is so underrated. Lots of people hate it, but I love it almost as much as T1 and T2.
Its a great film not as original or all round amazing as 1 and 2. I think it was a victim of the time it was released, by 2003 action films were pretty much done and the matrix had been released to much acclaim. T3 felt stale and Nick Stahl, Clare Danes and the 'terminatrix' feel a bit miscast. Killing off Sarah didn't help either.
Absolutely one of my favorites of the series actually. Nothing will beat 1 and 2, but 3 is very underrated. The action is 2nd to none, and while most didn't like what they did with the story - I think actually making Judgement Day inevitable no matter what humanity does is perfect (and they use this again in Dark Fate in fact). I'm also of the opinion that Genysis is very underrated. Mind you, some of the roles are VERY miscast but the action is incredible once again and I loved what they were trying to do with the story in that one. Maybe if the god damn trailer didn't spoil the big twist of the movie it might have gone over better. Plus, I feel like that whole thing would have been "fixed" in any sequels to that one. But meh, it is what it is.
@@LordLOC , yep, the problem with that franchise is that they discontinue what they had started and always start something new, instead of finishing the story. I'd love to see the end of the T3-T4 story, but it would never happen. I don't like Genesys much, but still it would be interesting to see how this story goes, but nah, we didn't get that one either. And the abrupt cancellation of fantastic Sarah Connor Chronicles just left me heartbroken. Yeah, it is what it is. If you're interested, I recommend to check-out the graphic novel Terminator: The Final Battle by Joe Michael Straczynski. It's an epic and beautiful end of the T3-T4 storyline and it would make a terriffic movie, but, alas, we only have the graphic novel.
Fun Fact: The big chase scene in the beginning with the HUGE TRUCK... Well.. the studio wanted to cut that scene out of the movie.. Because it was way too expensive to shoot... Arnold said it was too important to the movie... So Arnold actually paid for that scene with his own money... Just to have it in the movie!! Crazy but true!
Amazing, isn't it - darn few movie stars today would do that just to make sure a movie is good (TC, maybe, no-one else). :)
@@neilgriffiths6427Woah cool... but I beileve in another content creator as I know.. well even if not paying to destroy a town lmmfao.. but still she would and does go to excessive/but like in a good way imho to always make a full on straight outright up like.. top notch quality product out of each video ig almostl ike it is I assume e ig.. I believe over 30 million $@@Embur12
Yes, and it is fantastic that he did, as it was one of the best set pieces in the movie.
Just for clarification, John was not a junkie. He was off the grid and didn't want to go to a hospital. So after his lil motorcycle accident he was looking for first aid for his hurt leg and used pain killers from the vet for the pain.
48:15 as a lady who has accidentally wandered into the men's washroom: can confirm this is what happens. every damn time. so tiring.

I like that this story continues in Terminator Salvation, the most underrated sequel in this franchise
Agreed 👍🏾
I know Salvation got a lot of hate but I actually enjoyed it. Was interesting seeing the war with machines in the future for a full movie.
agree
Agree, don't know why people hate it so much I actually love it, and I think Christian Bale makes a better John Conner than he did a Batman. Wish he continued with the role for the later movies.
My only beef with Salvation was no phased plasma rifles. 😆 I don’t think they’d get far against the Terminators without them.
I always felt judgmental day was inevitable. I’m of the school that if it hadn’t, a terminator would’ve never been created to send back. The remake of the movie “The Time Machine “ explains it very well. I really like Terminator:Genesis. Looking forward to it.
I always saw it as multiple timelines.
Skynet sending back a Terminator caused things to branch out. And with every interference, more timeline branches were created.
Had they made sure the arm from T2 that got stuck in the cogs was destroyed too, that timeline would have prevented Judgement Day.
@@TimedRevolver.... about that arm from T2, it's basically not enough tech piece to start another AI intelligence without the chip. But probably a piece of tech that do not belong in a particular timeline might cause ripples in the spacetime fabric causing the timeline branches....idk just wild brainstorming the minutia of details often overlooked.
@@changsangma1915 I think Skynet just messed with time too much and now it's a tangle nobody can unravel.
The Terminator that Arnold plays in this movie is the T-850 slightly upgraded variant of the T-800. The Terminators that Arnold plays in the T1 and T2 Judgment Day were T-800s.
THANK YOU for giving this film its due! This is one of my favorite movies and I hate that almost no one wants to watch it. Their loss, I love it!
"We need another vehicle." - classic deadpan Arnie!
Based and T-850 pilled!
When he said ''Why did they make the TX so sexy?''...well that's what makes her the perfect weapon...beauty that blind you kills.
the ending of this movie is so dark and perfect.
14:38 - my sentiment exactly.
Kristanna Loken was incredible as the perfectly sensual killing machine, and she's by far the best part of this movie.
This movie gets so much hate, even though it's a decent popcorn flick. Fun review guys!
Nothing beats the first two Terminators movies but i enjoyed the rest
The main inconsistency was John's narration at the beginning of this movie, saying that he was 13 years old in T2. -- John later says they destroyed Cyberdyne "over 10 years ago". Let's do the math...
The first movie is set in May 1984, +9 months is March 1985. (John's birth year) -- If John was really 13 in T2, that would make the year 1998, one year after the nuclear war (1997)
This movie (T3) is set in 2004. "Over 10 years ago" means 1993 or earlier. John would have been 8 years old.
The correct date and age, is that T2 took place in 1995. When the T-1000 access the police car's computer, it states that John is 10 years old.
T3 gets a lot of hate because it wasn't by Cameron, but for me it made a lot of sense. With the ending, it enables the the events of T1 and T2 to happen, completing the time travel loop.
John: "He's the key. He always was. Your father is the one who can shut Skype down. We have to get to him before the T-Rex does."
I loved the idea of the internet becoming self aware and creating the computer virus to gain access to the Skynet system
That blew my mind when I saw this in the theater back in the day 😮
That's one thing I dislike about this movie. In T2, it was established from T-800 that Skynet acted in self-defense when the human wanted to shut it down when it became self aware by nuking the whole world. But in this movie, Skynet was ready to wipe out the human even before they had the chance to let them gain access to their nukes and be aware of Skynet being self-aware. Retconning the idea that Skynet did what it did in self-defense into doing Judgement Day purely out of tyranny.
What I like about movie reactors like you, is that you're usualy more appreciative of what you're watching, compared to the initial public. Many movies that I've watched on your channel gave you at least a minimum of fun and interrest (like with "Annabelle", "The Nun", "Conjuring 3" and T3 here) while, back then, they were received with negative or disappointed reactions, due to huge expectations between the years and the sequels.
the final scene with the music is pure gold
This movie is highly underrated. Everyone does a great job and Kate is the best strong female they tried to introduce in every other sequel they tried to replace this with. I think this one stands out over time as the best follow up/cap on T2.
If you watch the theatrical version of T2, T3 is a direct sequel to it. The director's cut of T2 added the scene at the end with old Sarah Connor and John Connor having a kid. T3 retcons it.
That Crane Truck Chase was not all CGI. Arnold paid with his own money to make sure it wasn't. They really destroyed that building.
The crane scene was ridiculous and awesome. I highly recommend that you watch the behind the scenes for that part because it took a lot of time and work.
There was a short lived series that was released back in 2008 called "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles". I never watched it but I know it lasted for two seasons.
It is a must watch, and a crime that it ONLY had 2 seasons.
The Japanese release also had a damned good theme performed by Gackt.
It was called GHOST.
I love this movie, the action scenes are unparalled. There's also a bit of drama in some moments to make it epic, like the slow mo when arny turns with the coffin on his should and shoots the hell out of everythingand when he fights to not fail his missiond smaching the car and reseting the system. Also the face off confrontation between the two terminators in the toilets is mouth dropping
When they finish this saga, they could react to the REC saga, a Spanish horror franchise in the Found Footage style, which has a sinister moments and a very intriguing mythology.
Yea, one of the best zombie movies. Lots of realistic situations (in the sense of human behaviour), and the development is done brilliantly, from the cool to the extreme.
The first 3 are good but the last movie was very disappointing.
Yes u are correct the ending scene in T2 is the alternate ending & James Cameron's original ending for the story,he never intended to go beyond T2,however he gave up the rights for t3 when the director wanted to continue the franchise,so if you following T2 theatrical cut than T1-TS is all connected in chronological timeline loop, after salvation, Genesis goes into a different direction for the franchise
You guys have gotta watch The Thing(1982). Absolutely classic.
I visited the studio that did the practical effects for this film. They had a bunch of the props around, like the coffin. I got to hold one of their Oscars while there.
Edit: To be clear it was one of the studios. Multiple production houses worked on it.
Glad you guys are feeling better. I've been sick with a viral cough for nearly a month so I know how bad it can suck.
Hope you get well soon!
"I don't know if Budweiser wants to be associated with a sea full of corpses."
Why not? That sounds badass. Heineken would.
The project known as Star Wars was born in the late 1970s and was unveiled in 1983
Guys you watched the special edition of T2, It had an alternate ending to the theatrical release.
Terminator 2 takes place in 1995 and John was born 10 years prior. Just like with Terminator 2, Terminator Salvation has an extended Director's Cut
The TV series, The Sarah Connor Chronicles takes place between 2 need 3 when John is a teen.
One of the swat officers in T2 that said move back everybody out now is the police uncle in the show TV show BREAKING BAD
Jonathan mostow had a difficult task of following cameron with 1 and 2,he did a great job .
I had to laugh at the part where Igli said "I don't know if Bud Weiser wants to be associated with a sea full of corpses"
Me:Well, they've been associated with far worse things lmao 🤣. T3 is very underrated imo, I would take this T3 over Dark Fate to be honest.
It fallows 2015 one good option
yes please 🙏🏻
This movie is absolutely incredible
What I did like about this movie. Connor's lieutenants being targets was a nice touch. When I saw it in the theatre, the ending surprised me. I was predicting they'd destroy the central core and prevent the war. I was a bit hopeful that it meant all sequels would take place in the future war. That was before they came up with reboots.
Arnold's skin is Model 101 (the first flesh design) you can see the Endoskeleton being fleshed in the T2 Trailer. The Combat Chasse is a T-800. In this film, it's an upgrade T-850. The first film said the T-600s had rubber skin. There's an live action series with T-888s, more slimed-lined, smaller versions, and now there's Animated series in the works.
TERMINATOR 3 from my vantage point. 60% hated it 30% enjoyed it 10% were to drunk to remember seeing it.
When I saw in theaters, I was really surprised when I saw they reused old scenes from Smallville in a big budget movie.
Since I haven't seen this mentioned.. John calling her Terminatrix is actually correct latin grammar. Latin words ending with or are the male versions, with trix being the female equivalent. Gladiator, doctor, actor, victor, dominator, moderator --- gladiatrix, doctrix, actrix, victrix, dominatrix, moderatrix
I think this one is highly underrated - right from the start the Terminator rocks up and is all about protecting him.. its not so JC can change the future or stop Skynet.. there is NO stopping it and i think there are some parallels that could potentially be drawn to RL which is where i think its successful.
The crane chase scene is absolutely gigantic - i love that Arnie paid out of his own pocket to ensure that scene happened. So cool!
I wish they'd done a bit more with the TX - would have been fun to see its internal metal structure change into some kind of lion like quadruped so it can run faster.. or just something non-bidedal.. so it can get the job done.
Yeah theres a few goofy bits... i wish they had kept a more serious T2 tone to it instead of the Elton John glasses gag or the strip joint gag, but i think the final scene where we see the bombs drop coupled with the music gives it a real finality to the end.
oh yeah and there's a T800 skull lay in the rubble at the end.. You could do a "start of the war" style movie.. where Skynet could kickstart the whole Terminator battle reverse-engineering that tech... jumpstarting the war against the terminators far faster :)
They wanted to bring back the kid who played John in the previous movie but he was fired when they found out he was on drugs.
There was a dvd extra where it should you a deleted scene, it showed the army choosing the design of the T-800.
Glad you guys are continuing on, the Terminator sequels aren't perfect they do have some genuinely cool stuff that'll be fun to see you guys react to, and most don't watch the others so yay
One of the best sci-fi TV series was The Sarah Connor Chronicles. It was good. It starts with Sarah dying of Leukemia. A Time Machine from the future was sent and built much earlier in the timeline for Sarah to use herself later, changing her fate from that of T3. She is cured of leukemia and continues the training of John Connor, helped by a female Terminator programmed by an older John Connor, and supported by John’s uncle, Kyle Reese’s brother! The cast is excellent and the resident evil terminators chasing them are equally good. The series shows the foundation and building of the future resistance movement to Skynet. John’s future lieutenants starring to appear. Early Skynet while being sabotaged by the resistance, is also being aided by terminators from the future. Both sides trying to get the upper hand before Judgement Day.
I loved it on sci Fi TV and it sad that I noticed sy fy or sci Fi always shortened something that's Soo popular. Like example the movie " The lost Room" about a cop who has his daughter missing in a mysterious room and he had to fight cabals, and protect the hotel key. The many factors had power elements to any items he can use. But they cut the story short
Another interesting thing about that series was the implication of a third faction rising in the form of the Terminator resistance/freedom movement who seek to free their fellow terminators from skynet control. Remember the T1001/Catharine Weaver unit building something to fight skynet?
"The sarah connor chronicles" is a really bad show, with a lot of mistakes and nonsenses like Cameron, a terminator who can eat, cry and fall in love (Are you f kidding me?), ridiculous time travels and forgettable characters. Thanks God it was cancelled because the low ratings.
I had always assumed that Terminators ate, based on information from the first film. We (audience) know who the terminators are, but in Kyle Reese’s world humans did not. They blended in. I assumed terminators ate to blend in and in what Kyle said, “they had bad breath.” I imagined a scene with other cyborg movies like Robocop where Murphy needed rudimentary food paste to ‘sustain his organics’. The terminator did rudimentary maintenance to its meat suit which had blood vessels, sweat glands and could heal when not injured beyond repair, and it grew old with age.
Arnie Baby: "She's your wife."
John: "What? No! How do you know that?"
Arnie Baby: *"I HAVE DETAILED FILES."*
Apparently, some people have explained any discrepancies from one movie to the next as follows: When the time machine was built to send the terminators back in time, they were not sure if they would succeed in their mission. So, they sent multiple model terminators to multiple different timelines to increase the chances of success. One timeline before John Connor was born, one after he was born but still young, one after he was older, etc. And because they are different timelines someone might be dead in one timeline but could still be alive in another timeline. Many possibilities. You can destroy Cyberdyne Systems in one timeline but there is a different form of Cyberdyne system in another timeline.
Hey there guys love the reaction but also if you dont mind me giving a fun fact: that town scene was real as well as that neighborhood scene, all the stunts and everything was real. What they did was they built add-ons to most of the businesses and homes to be able to truly pull it off. A long time ago during the production of this film Me and my dad was going to an event and we actually got worried and thought it was a dangerous situation but really they were redirecting traffic because they were on production or getting it ready.
Restroom fight scene always reminds me another very good Arnie flick - True Lies ;)
People like shitting on Nick for his acting here and calling it the worst portrayal of John Connor on screen...
I don't think so, guys. And here why.
Apparently, nobody had a thought that such an image of the future leader of the Resistance was extremely logical.
People seemed to forget that, in fact, at the time of the second film, John was only 10 years old (yeah, not 13 years old as he mentioned). He did not receive a proper education, his mother and him were considered terrorists for the destruction of Cyberdyne Systems building, his mother constantly hammered into his head that he was destined to be the future leader of the Resistance ...
And since they both believed that Judgment Day had been averted, after Sarah's death, it was natural for John to become an outcast ... Dam, he actually became a homeless person, living off the grid.
After all, he had nothing but thoughts of that terrible future and an impending threat ... He himself even said here that he was trying to cut off all connections with the past. But no matter how hard John tried to do that, fate couldn't be avoided. Judgment day was inevitable...
And because of such thoughts and knowledge of the future, John wasn't able to join the society again.
And the fact that in the end of the film John finally stopped running from his fate and accepted it - as for me, - that was a great development of John's character.
I hope you guys like Salvation. It's really one of my favorites cause it partially follows my favorite Terminator character.
Sarah Connor is played by Linda Hamilton, who was married to James Cameron. You guys really need to watch the rest in the series. Some great surprises are in store for you!!! GOOD ONES....
It was only supposed to be 1 and 2 and end with her old but they also wanted to extend it but James Cameron let them do it and changed the end of the 2nd one where their driving on a dark highway. But Arnold wanted the 3rd better and they couldn't afford to make that chase scene good so that's when Arnold paid for it.
Regarding the particle accelerator: That blue tube looking thing looks like it may be for cryogenic containment. Which means the magnets are super conducting. There is no indication that there is particle beam on, so it just may be the magnets powered. If you cut through the conductors within then you would instantly stop thousands of amps of current. There is something called induction which relates to changing magnetic fields. If you stop current like that there would probably be a huge electromotive force created. I don’t know the full implications, but I would guess that there would be a large explosion, since there is nowhere for the energy to go, since the conductor is severed. The cryogen itself would immediately vaporize meaning all of the liquid cryogen would turn into gas in a very quick and violent way. It would displace all of the air in the vicinity, so that any human in there would immediately pass out. I don’t think John and Kate were far enough, if this were real, they would’ve passed out (Edit: they were out of the building when the terminator started cutting so they would be safe. )But luckily, in actuality, you can’t turn on the particle accelerator that easy and there will be tons and tons of security to prevent you from getting that close to one without the whole thing shutting down by fail safe.
I envy the fact that you guys are able to watch these for the first time so quickly, back to back.
I was born in 1980.... so you can imagine how long I've waited to watch each sequel. 😂
You guys get to straight up watch them like series episodes... and come up with your own theories (which I think are very good).
There's also a Sarah Connor Chronicles series, you should check out, that is sort of an alternative continuation to Terminator 2's theatrical version(2 seasons).
Watching you guys watch the Alien films as well as the Terminator films is almost similar to watching a child swim for the first time.
Awesome af.
One of you had mentioned how you didn't understand the hate for Terminator 3. What I think the hate is, is actually time. You guys are actually able to watch these movies back to back, and enjoy them, while other fans have to wait decades in between sequels, and be triggered that the sequels didn't turn out how they imagined, like myself LOL.
1,2,6,4,3,5 is my order from favorite to least. Looking forward to yalls Terminator Salvation watch/review
as my hate as the terminator sequels get, this one earns its spot in the series on its own merits.
there is certainly way too much cheese in here, but it sets John up as the resistance leader really well.
I know people hate Salvation but I actually love Salvation because it's in the middle of the war.
All of the Terminator films are good in their own ways. T1 thru T3 are a complete trilogy, Salvation is an alternate timeline sharing some continuity with the OT, Genesis is fine, I honestly haven’t seen it in years, probably since it was released and Dark Fate is actually really good. Linda Hamilton returns and does a great job. Also, the TV series starring Lena Headley as Sarah Connor is really underrated.
I can totally agree with all this, I'm glad to see someone bring up Sarah Connor chronicles, I really enjoyed that series.
Did you ever read the comics series? I remember seeing the NOW comics series back in the 80's or early 90's, I hunted that limited series and 2 mini-series back in mid 90's and I think they were stolen by my sister's ex.
There was also several mini-series from DARK HORSE COMICS that were pretty good, had them all.
And then finally there was another series, 9 issues I think, 4 pre-judgement day and 4 post with a #0 issue in the middle. I missed out on them, and I can't remember the publisher, IMAGE or MALIBU??? The art looked great.
I actually really liked Dark Fate even though it does away with a lot of continuity. It’s almost like T2 but upped the ante..
I think the story was closed and the movies ended with the first two movies at the end of Judgment Day.
Everything after that is alternate timeline/dimension storyline and story-telling as far as I'm concerned.
Which isn't to say they're good or bad, just that they don't fit narratively with the first two movies which had a closed story.
Actually Terminator Salvation could work as a "prequel/sequel" to those first two movies since it doesn't directly flow from either of the other sequels that followed them, but considering the fact that the timeline was reset at the end of Judgment Day, essentially Terminator Salvation should not exist at all, except only as a prequel to what happened BEFORE the first Terminator movie.......but in the future, of course,.....of the original (un-re-set) timeline.
@@Cbricklyne I can definitely accept this theory about Salvation being a future prequel of the first film, it actually makes a lot of sense
Christana Loken is in Blood Rayne. Meatloaf is in it too, as a vampire.
It fallows next
They changed the time line 2 times in the series to different versions/dimensions of parallel realities. Cameron has written a final T7 called End of Wars, But all prouction companies, WB, Sony, Columbia, Paramount etc have said no thanks to his script. Arnie and Hamilton have said they are not ever coming back to the t series.
The "I lied" line wasn't the first time Arnold said it. He used it Before in the movie Commando.
Nick Zahl is also in Mirrors 2. I hadn't seen other things of his other than T3.
I really enjoyed TERMINATOR 3 alot. Saw it in theaters 3 times and own a VHS copy. Despite James Cameron's intent for there to be only 2 movies and fans believeing what the ending and alternate ending indicate that judgement day was prevented. Every time i have ever watched T2 i always felt they postponed judgement day there was no preventing. T2 gas station scene it's your nature to destroy yourself. Machines are an extentsion of the human condition for better or worse.
28:45 ... No, it is a circular saw 😂😂😂
Great reaction guys 🤘😎
Skynet has done such a number on the timeline. Just can't stop using their time displacement.
All that destruction during the chase Arnold payed for all of that because they didn’t have a big budget
Blake must do reactions part time. I miss seeing his face and him covering his eyes in fear.😂
I have seen the first 5. I will be on 6 - Blake
51:20 All the T-X would have needed to do was reverse its polarity to get unstuck.
48:25 The female terminator getting distracted by its reflection is so hilarious
This was one of the last movies Arney did before becoming governor of California. I remember watching it thinking how weird it is that he's a governor (even though I grew up with Reagan).
John Connor was 10 in T2. This movie incorrectly says that he was 13, which was the age of Edward Furlong when he played the character.
I just watched you guys watch 3 of these in a row...lol.
They should’ve got Linda Hamilton back
No Problemo She Will Be Back!!! Greetings from Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮
I don't think this film would have worked with her in it, unless it was flashbacks or dream sequences, as this was 100% John's story. We needed to see him having his problems and how he overcame his issues in the long run, and of course how he met his future wife. Having Sarah's character in this film would have only taken away from the two main characters screen time and made for less charter development for John and Kate.
She originally was until she saw the script for Sarah Conner🤣she knew T3 was gonna mess her character up (which they did off screen), but at the same time, John is the main character
@@kharma101 Never knew that, and good to see Linda thought better of it, as I figured her being there wouldn't have really served any useful purpose in this particular narrative.
@@kharma101 it would’ve been interesting to see what they did with the character
At the Camnes Film Festival they had a squat robot stand next to Arnie and move it's machine gun up and down in a suggestive manner.
28:51 The black cop, that's afro-ninja btw. In case anyone was wondering lol
14:35 'She caaan...' Word lol
Linda Hamilton read the script for this and declined to reprise her role, so her character was killed off.
James Cameron is an amazing director and deserves all the praise in the world.
But I think he’s held on such an impossibly high pedestal.
Look someone was gonna make this movie because that’s what the studio wanted. It could’ve been a lot worse - see “Genesys” and “Dark Fate”, and to a lesser extent “Salvation”.
The action is really fun, some great jokes thrown in, Stahl and Danes are cute, and a pretty interesting ‘twist’ ending.
It’s not as good as the first two but this movie gets an insanely bad rap.
I know people hate this movie, but it's a fun ride from start to finish.
Kristanna Loken, whom played the TX, had to spend one night naked in Beverly Hills for her time travel sequence, and said in interviews that there was no way out of the scene, as Rodeo Drive was closed, and it was packed with tourists, thinking it was going to be a peep show, but she didn't mind, saying, "As an actor, you have to be as daring as possible."
She had to have a bandage on her left foot as she stepped on a piece of glass while walking across the street.
Shaquille O'Neal, Vin Diesel, Peta Wilson, Famke Jansson, Jennifer Lopez, Carrie Anne Moss, WWE Joanie "Chyna" Laurer, Jeri Ryan, and Gwyneth Paltrow were considered for the role of the TX
The original script was going to have an opening scene as it was going to have the TX arrive naked in a bowling alley, shocking kids and adults, where the owner covers her with a blanket and takes her to his office, then she kills him and takes his identity.
Ridley Scott, Ang Lee, Michael Bay, Steven Spielberg, John McTiernan, Roland Emmerich, James Cameron and David Fincher were considered for director.
I can't believe how much Corey looks like Australian football superstar Marcus Bontempelli. Google him. Like a twin
I can see the resemblance. We recieved a comment recently that said Igli looks like Zlatan Ibrahimović. -Corey
In the novel of this film the tx killed over hundred / thoughts of t800 yea the tx model is crazy strong
Thank you for reacting to the 3rd one!
17:50 she is MegaMan hahahahaha
Looking forward to seeing Terminator Salvation. It's not a *great* movie, but it's a really fun one and has some cool actors in it.
OK so the Sarah Connor theory... The ending you saw in the last movie ( the old Sarah ) was added back by the cut you were watching. The Theatrical cut didnt have that seen so this movie only makes sense if you watch the Theatrical cut.
In my opinion this movie is a great action movie and a solid installment of the Terminator franchise. That crane scene is phenomenal, the bathroom scene also great. I really like how they explain the awakening of Skynet and how John survives and by the time the resistance really begun he was a known leader. I also thought they handled John really well here. All that trauma in the past must have had an effect on him he was in fact a mess. :)
The next movie is very different but I thought it was great, I really enjoyed it. You guys really need to watch the TV show, its really good stuff and only 2 seasons.
Also, Kristanna Lokan is stunning, it was so strange at first having her as a merciless killing machine. :)
BTW there is a really good video on YT about the Terminator timeline. I will link it when you guys are thorough to clear things up.
“Talk To The Hand!”
Hoping that line is a track on the upcoming Austrian Death Machine new album, QUAD BRUTAL, out Feb 23! 💿 🎸 😂
I think John would have been hurt alot worse if he'd hit Bambi rather than lay the bike down lol can't wait for Salvation my second favourite in the series
Arnie left a convertible hearse in exchange for the RV.
From your comments watching the movie, it sounds like you'll like the 6th one. For me, 5 and 6 are definitely at the bottom of the pile.
Even though this movie has such a strange atmosphere to it, the tone goes against James Camerons original vision, I still enjoyed this movie and it has some of the most insane action scenes of all time.
