Tex Perkins es un músico consumado y eficiente, inquieto y prolífico. Tanto que ha decidido reactivar a The Dark Horses, una de sus bandas paralelas al margen de Beasts of Bourbon. Al principio era sólo una colaboración con el compositor Murray Patterson, a la que también se unió el espléndido guitarra Charlie Owen, pero después de cinco discos la verdad es que la cosa ha tomado entidad. Para la ocasión "Tunnel at the end os the light" se muestra como un álbum melancólico, reposado y con unas guitarras soberbias donde se habla del amor y los golpes que da la vida. Entre lo mejor del disco "Slide on by", "Tunnel at the end os the light" y "Right here in front on you".
