@@jouinitaieb2467 She was built and launched in 1920. She will be 100 years old next year. She was designed entirely by Horrice Dodge, co-founder of the founder of the Dodge motor Company. She was build at Great Lakes Engineering Works in River Rouge, Michigan, USA, and was launched, completed, and delivered to the Dodge family in 1920. She was named after Horrice Dodge's daughter Delphine Dodge, who christened her at her launching. Her boilers and twin steam engines are the only ones like them in the world, and are still the main propulsion system on the Delphine. She is 250 feet long and 40 feet wide and has been completely restored to better than her original grandeur. She has all of the interior luxuries of a modern yacht with most of her original 1920's design maintained. Unfortunately, both Horrice and John Dodge died of the flu, with Horrice's death just 4 months before the launching of the Delphine. He never sailed her, but his daughter owned her until the U.S. Navy commandeered her for use as a fleet Admiral's command vessel during WWII, and renamed U.S.S. Dauntless. This was risky because Delphine's maximum speed was/is only about 12.5 knots.
As of 2015, the Delphine was owned by the Princess of Monaco, and was for sale for a whopping $39,000,000.00 (USD), but I am not certain if she ever sold.
