@@abcdefgh6951 I think its about the follow up if he’s jealous with Yaz getting the role. It kind of a crappy follow up given that he started it with a positive questions.

Whoever did this man's media training deserves a raise. The poise and grace he has in interviews is amazing for someone so young, big respect

I think it's also because he was a child actor, so at 18 he's already has career of this behind him. I imagine he got significant media training during Rocket Man too due to the scale
I think his parents work in PR and marketing, but he's been on TV and film consistently since he was about 9, he's grown up in the industry.
He's got to be quite well versed in how it goes by now.
Plus he just seems like a genuinely decent person.
@@vixeneyes9908 This comes across very well in interviews, his warmth just comes across easily on screen, in the same way Joe's warmth comes across too. For me I was surprised at the high quality acting from both Kit and Joe, as both are just 18. Joe surprised me even more, as this was his first ever acting role in TV or film. Wow! Joe really did himself proud for a newcomer. Kit's acting was also excellent. The first kiss scene in episode 3 you can see a whole range of emotions going through his eyes on the lead up to the kiss as he sat there next to Charlie (Joe). You agree?
Here we see that it’s not just Nick that’s humble and genuine, it’s Kit too. You just can’t not love him.
Yesss he is the sort of person that we need more of in this generation! He seems so polite and genuine in everything he says, even if he wasn’t popular I wouldn’t give up the opportunity to become friends with man

It's really interesting, the difference between how Kit Connor and the other heartstopper actors like Joe Locke talk to reporters. You can really tell that Kit is used to reporters and how carefully he says things. It's not a bad thing, but you can very clearly see the difference, especially in group interviews.

He's been dealing with interviewers since he was a wee lad. I'm so proud of him and all that he has accomplished. Even more so because of how genuine he comes across. Such a sweet, young man. More power to him. I see his career soaring to new heights as time goes on.

Well, he's been doing this for years... But I think Joe is so well spoken too. And he just started.

The way he didn't even smile at the unnecessary "jealousy" joke, and sincerely showed he was happy for yaz since she really deserves it, ugh kit is just so professional and so talented. I hate saying talented though as it takes so much work to get to where he is, with him being a child actor, but he definitely deserves the praise he gets now.

He is absolutely right, His Dark Materials is an amazing show and I really hope people tune in to watch it because HBO is doing a pretty crap job at promoting it.

I watched the series, then checked out the Webtoon story. Kit is right, trust Alice! The way she expanded the story - from the graphic novels - to the screen I'm convinced series 2 & 3 are gonna be....??? Amazing!

I already read and watched His Dark Materials (all of the show that’s out, obviously) and it just makes it that much better that Pan is voiced by freaking Nick Nelson. I love both shows even more

He was 17 when they filmed Hearstopper over a year ago, he's grown up in that year. He also said he goes to the gym more often, so he definitely put some muscle on, but you can see even in his face that he's changed quite a bit in a year.
