I read this comment when I first started playing around 8 months ago. Since then I've conditioned myself to always wait until that part drops before I start the game.
Most times I'd play games where I try to tap the start button so "Arknights" is shouted right on the crescendo. Sometimes I'd tap really early in hopes it would still reach that part before the game finishes loading. But every time, it is always worth it, this piece of music is absolutely amazing and will never get old to me.
I didn’t even know about the sick music at 0:43 until one day I set my phone down when I started the game and was making something to eat it started playing and I’m like where is that coming from? Looked at my phone like holy shit that’s sick

Just realized that along with the GitHub parody, Closure's real name is a fusion of two major Computer Science figureheads: Ada Lovelace, regarded as the first computer scientist of her field, and Alonzo Church, responsible for Lambda Calculus, the field of math responsible for the abstraction of functions, and a close associate of Alan Turing.
I mean, it's a bit on the nose, but it's kinda neat that they would allude so much to computer science and engineering in her design

I would like to make a little breakdown of this song, by yours truly. Minor spoilers ahead, just for the introduction of the game but spoilers nonetheless.
It starts with vaguely technological sounds, with some instrument that appears to be "static". It could be interpreted as the pharmaceutical side of Rhodes Island, with the static being failed comunications between the HQ and the rescue team.
Then, tension starts being built on a guitar and chord instruments, i would guess Violin but i may be wrong. And, after a moment, the tension breaks with a crazy riff from electric guitars, who are commonly related to this "modern war" seen recently in contemporary videogames. This could be interpreted as the more serious side of Rhodes; they may be a pharmaceutical company but *they have to fight*, and that's the cruel reality for Terra.
Then it changes back and forth in this process of "pharmaceutical→tension→war" segments, really really smoothly.
Maybe this is just the way the music says "there's no end to this cycle. We treat,then we fight, then we treat again, then we fight again". The only solution to end this madness is to find the cure for Oripathy, and only one person has proven themself capable of achieving this miraculous goal: The Doctor.
This, being the title theme, is a constant reminder of "this is the situation we are in, we have to treat the ill and fight the rampant. It's in your hands what we do next, in order to save this world"
I may be overthinking this, but this is what i hear from the song. Thanks for reading!

Damn it feels so nostalgic. I still remember logging in 5 mins before reset just to make sure I didn't forget to collect all daily missions in time.
I still remember how the old UI looked along with the og bg music while scrolling through story stages and/or events.
Its been like 2 almost 3 yrs now since the new title ost dropped. The new one is bangers absolutely, but this one just hits close to home. I miss this title ost already. I wish they'd put an archives for all the ost in the game so that I could still listen to this.

When I first downloaded the game, I wasn't expecting this jam. Really impressed with the presentation and UI.
New version is cool but i kinda wish they put an option to change the title theme so one can put the version they want, or alternate between the two
