I'm a Honda city (4th gen facelift)user from 2019 till date, I say, There is no genuine reason one got to get rid of a Honda car, coz its such well built. Forget over all car, solely its engine is a gem out of rest. Be it a small cc lawn mover, chain saw, bush cutter, pressure washer, small generators, boat propeller, bikes, cars....U name it. Nobody makes a petrol motor likes Honda!
Most Japanese (Toyota, Suzuki, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Mazda, Yamaha, Kawasaki )makes good petrols, but Honda is simply the king out of them.
I often felt that Honda service guys are unnecessarily charging premium amount in each regular service coz the car got no complaints at all! !
Honda or even Japanese chassis/body/noise insulation may not be par with Germans but the r&d/progress they makes on their engines are simply unmatched. Time shows the testiment.
Those who love cars like their dear ones ! even having gratitude over it for the service it provides, will know how to keep a car for generations !
Seeing a hump one can figure out, the car would hit under belly or not.
I think dolphin gets soft suspension components, that leads to more lowering in load. Most other citys 1st,3rd,4th are stiff suspension.
It's astonishing to know that Honda was once a tiny company that made just piston rings for the gaint Toyota.
For me, Honda is a brand that provides both reliability & performance ie inversely proportional to each other or literally impossible ! My dream Honda's are Civic type r, Integra type R, Prelude, CRX, S2000( world record F20C engine), NSX ....all those where the golden eras of Honda history! that got the real VTEC, not the i-Vtec.
In the world of IC engines the highest revving would be a rotery engine from say Subaru or Mazda, but the highest revving inline engine would be from a Honda !!
