There's enough of these type of monster hiding puzzle games. Outlast series, Amnesia The Bunker and the other ones too

The first half of the game is fantastic.

If you can get through San Cristobal Medical, you've essentially experienced the game. The rest feels like padding with some tense moments sprinkled throughout.
I try to view the game purely as fan service for hardcore enjoyers of the first Ridley Scott film.

Cut out all the android stuff (or severely shorten it) after the first San Cristobal Medical section and the game would flow much better. I know they wanted you to take a break from the Alien but the game becomes so boring when it’s not around. The nest section is incredible and then the game kinda slogs about.
