Memorial Flag Display Case

In this video we make a pair of memorial flag boxes. My grandfather and his brother were both war veterans and my father decided to display their flags. So I did two different builds. The first one was without any planning. The second one I planned out to make it a little easier.

What width lumber did you use?

about 1/2 in thick lumber. The case ended up about 4 3/8 wide.

Hey nice cases you made! I’m wanting to make one for a friend who lost a veteran in their family and I don’t have their flag to measure by. Is there a standard dimension for these flags and cases that I could use?

I am not sure if there is a standard size. This was the firt time I've made these as well. I just went off of the size of the flag we had. The final size of the case ended up being about 21 3/4 long for the bottom piece and 15 3/8 long for the sides.
