This was the first time he was ever on the show. No one knew who he was at this point. The audience nor the other competitors knew anything about him. The clapping at the beginning was just the audience being supportive and nice. Actually he was the first performer of the night and he blew everyone away. This performance made him an overnight sensation in China. This was the song that started it all. Hello was the song where he came back a year later. Please do more Dimash with your sister! Thanks for the video.

@@Leinad23s +This was a contest in China with just professionals no amateurs!! It was his first song and a year later he got invited back to the same competition to sing and that is when he sang HELLO, a whole year later. S O S was in french, however in the future Dimash songs go to Gloria Wu channel, she has his songs hat are sung in various laguages with an English sub Title, that way you know what he is singing!! Unforgettable Day he hits a D 8 note not even on the piano. Another is from a movie soon to be released called Creator - The Past he sings the song ACROSS ENDLESS DIMENSIONS. Then there is SINFUL PASSION, OPERA 2, OGNI PIETRA and more!! He is amazing. And of course I have to say you ain't seen nothing yet!!! You've just scratched his surface!! By the way you will notice all songs he does each one is totally different!! DIMASH KUDAIBERGEN!!! "KUDAIBERGEN" in Turkish means (GIFT OF GOD) HHHUUUmmmm!!!! O KAY here's one in March he signed with a record company in America. It is IPZ which is much more that records. Multi Multi company. Go to IPZ Home ICONS talent click Media click there he is!! Stop and think how many song writers that have talent are now saying now I can write the songs I've wanted to because we now have a singer who can sing them. Something to think about!!!

Я часто вижу реакторов, которые плохо себя ведут и грубо разговаривают, прежде чем смотреть Димаша, но после того, как они смотрят на него, они действуют и разговаривают намного лучше. He does speak Russian fluently however. 2 more fun facts, he sings in 6 octaves reportedly, however I have heard him hit a D8 which is a note so high it isn't found on a full size grand piano. He also plays several instruments. If you haven't seen him perform "Your Love" that would be a great song to react to. His performance is superb (as usual) 👍

Dimash is from Kazakhstan which is a country that borders Russia and his native language is Kazakh. However he does speak Russian. Greetings to the owner and guests of this channel…! And my heartfelt gratitude to the reactors worldwide and commentators of this channel for your great help and service, so that artists can improve and or develop their talents and gifts at their best in order to serve better the listening public.
I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it and to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition.
The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his career the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living our day to day life. Hope his viewers worldwide especially the young will learned from his optimistic views in pursuing his professional fields to the optimum level especially his confidence, creativity and perseverance. His labors and hard work are now indeed bearing fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. For me as a listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the artist and the content of its music.
The power and beauty of his voice is so incredible even at his lowest and highest notes. Also the fact that, he is able to sing his music at maximum or more than 6 octaves with ease and comfort in different languages and in various voices is really amazing. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said oooh… is Dimash human..? Alien..?
I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and probably surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. But I believed and I’m convinced that Dimash 21 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted by God with grace for music but his years of hard work of practice and experiences proved it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible.
My other concerns whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..?
Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it.
With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below about these music is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me.
To all the readers my great apology for this lengthy piece. If you think these are all helpful you can share it to others as you please, I do really appreciate it. Or maybe you might have a different reflection experience of this music than mine; you can always revisit this music or other music of Dimash on line. Your personal critique to this comments are always valuable.
SONG OF DIMASH IN FRENCH “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” (Ester Rabi’s Commentary & Reflection on this song (Ref CCC): I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death)
STORY BEHIND THE SONG : The song is from French Rock Opera called Starmania. Originally it was sung by Daniel Balavoine who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986, who is known of his beautiful voice. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” means in a sad lyrics says … “a soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress” because it is a human being who is in anguish searching for the absolute.
Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith.
For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discerned well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that, it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with humility, discernment and faith in God.
Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God.
Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. Likewise, if we are open to grace it helps us become vulnerable, sensitive and compassionate to others. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth” as Saint Paul reminded us that “our present sufferings are nothing to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us later.
Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. The hope of heaven gives us joy even in the sufferings of this life. In God’s plan, human beings were created for holiness and eternal life with him. But through the original sin that enters human lives, our nature has been wounded, and is now subject to suffering and death. This was not part of God’s original plan, but now is already part of our human lives reality.
Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives, and we will face God’s judgment. Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and even argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. The truth is… in front of death we are all poor and powerless.
If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. But In God’s plan, however, death is not the end of everything, but the border that enables every human being to enter the endless place of eternity. For all those who have done their best to respond to God’s grace, to die is to cross from an imperfect type of existence into a new and fuller life lived in God’s presence. Often we feel the greatest misfortunes, when death struck in a person, depriving him or her greatest treasures a person can possess which is life itself. Death is such a peaceful event in our life, if we die in the state of grace, meaning if we died reconciled with God and at peace with others.
Death is the end of our earthly life. Since it is unknown to all of us, the time of our death, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times. Dimash is Kazakh from Kazakhstan, not Russian. He is fluent in Kazakh and Russian. Speaks reasonably well in English (far from fluent but improving definitely) and a smattering of Mandarin (a bit here and there). He HAS SUNG in twelve languages though nowadays he mostly sing in six languages at his solo concerts (before lockdown which started in mid March, 2020 that forces him to cancelled his sold out in advanceconcert in Germany as well as a few more concert dates....postponed to March 2021 - God willing🙏🙏🙏). Kazakhstan is in Central Asia - between Europe and Asia.....so Dimash is considered Eurasian).

This amazing performance is about TEMPERING---as, when glass or steel is put through the fire to strengthen it. In this case, it's first Kazakhstan, and then (in the present) Dimash himself who is being "tempered." He has done some hard things, experienced great sacrifice in the past couple of years, and has come out much stronger===has become a fully mature man, in the process. I believe this is what this piece is about--tempering, suffering, and strengthening.
