Well, technically antennae do not count towards official building height, but spires do as long as they do not exceeded 50% of the building's height. This is from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. (Yes, it's an official organization.) The question as actually gotten so controversial, that they now use 3 methods of measuring building height. 1. Architectural Height, which includes spires, but not antennae as the latter are typically not part of the official structure. (The one I just mentioned earlier, and the one that I personally use.) 2. Height to tip, which includes both. (This one's fair IMHO. I typically 3. Highest occupied floor, which is pretty self-explanatory, but it measures up until the floor-level of the highest occupiable floor of the building. (I personally hate this one. It should be to the highest roof, not floor. If it's to the highest floor, then many tall 1 story buildings suddenly lose like all of their height.)
A nice comparison. Next suggestion: countries by Life Expectancy 2023. Not a very original topic but nevertheless it is quite interesting and unstable.

adding a 50m antenna on top of a building shouldn't count. anyone can just build a really tall antenna on top of any building
a new era of tall buildings, based on my discovery and my invention, the whole world will start to build the tallest skyscrapers, stable is 4000m, your animation is fine :)
Cloud lowest is about 2km. Almost in this is about 400 meter.
Hebat Malaysia 🎉
Fake building 🤏🏿🤏🏿🙈
@@yoxomx0?
@@yoxomx0More tall than small eyes Korea 😂… if you reply this… I will not see your reply at all so bye😂

Happy to see that buildings in China & HK were included in the list
Why shouldn't they be, if they are amoungst the world's tallest?
How about I build a one story building and add a 2000 foot antenna/spire on the roof, would that qualify for this list?
I made videos on youtube my self and i know how much effort it needs to make one video and i appreciate your work you are amazing keep it
3:03 ahí va a estar Torre Rise con 475 m. 🇲🇽
Roof of Willis Tower is 442 meters, not antennas!
There are 1472 skyscrapers over 200 meters in China, and 142 skyscrapers over 300 meters

Side by side comparisons show how lame it is to count the antennas.Freedom tower in New York really does look puny
Sears Tower / Willis towe’s is incorrectly listed in this video. Height, without antenna is 1,451 feet and 1,729 with antenna.
Interesting. Nice to see almost all the Tall building from Asia. And Western Europe, the oldest Developed and Industrialized countries have not 1 building in this category.
Nice Malaysia 🇲🇾
Looks like %95 of them stayed under 400M
👌🏼🔥
When I was teenager, I've read about Chinese project: 1 km tower. It was before 9/11.
Where is Tokyo Skytree (634m) ?? 😆
it's not a building, it would share a list with the cn tower and eiffel tower
"Rise Tower" - Monterrey Mexico 🇲🇽 (475m.)(1558 ft.) Under construction - Inauguration 2026. It's gonna be in the top 15 - 20 and will be the tallest in Latin America. In Latin America region we also have the tallest one already with "Torre Obispado" (305m.) (1000 ft.) Monterrey Mexico 🇲🇽.
480 ya le aumentaron altura
Wow. The tallest building is over 2640 feet which is over 1/2 mile straight up!
I will forever love the architecture design of Shanghai Tower. The design is so beautiful ♥️
Imagine living in a city with all these skyscrapers standing all together 😍
Hell.
@UnitTrace well, Tokyo doesn't do that. Their earthquakes make it just uneconomical
Kuala Lumpur have 3 skyscrapers in this video
Huh, did the antenna fall off the Empire State Building?
the roof of the willis tower is 1450 feet not the tip of the antenna, the scale is off.
Malaysia 🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾 the least popular country in the world. Less than 1000 year old civilization (as compared to other western countries) but yet.. we stand tall with technological breakthroughs and architectural advancement. So much accomplishment in less than 50 years!! Proud of Malaysia!
Sungai Batu civilization in Kedah is more than 2000 years old at least.
@@wolger I think its more of a settlement instead of civilization like the age of empires similar to the golden civilization age like roman empires, ming dynasty, or even btitish empires.. we only have the Melaka Kingdom civilization.
