I think clicking on MAX is overkill for most people and would likely cause them problems with things like running and installing programs and transferring files, etc. Best option would be interactive or high. It's a more balanced approached that provides protection without being too restrictive.

Hey crown geek i am using norton anti virus software for a month i got best proetction from it and i doesn't face any computer speed problems norton is giving me best protection but once in a month when my pc is slwo down norton notify me clear the junk files from my system and i again get the best performanec on my computer but when windows registry is corrupted then norton will fix it but windows defender doesnt inculde this feature

Junk files and registry stuff is all a scam. Yes, junk files exist. No, deleting them won't do anything other than free up some space. And "registry corruption" is always false, since actual registry corruption would make your system unbootable.

@@BhaveshKumar-qy2bz No, norton cannot repair registry corruption. If you had registry corruption, neither Windows nor Norton could load. There's thousands of "registry corruption fixes", but all of them are scams.
Norton antivirus is one of the most bloated, convoluted, dumperster-fire of a program. It's known for being clunky, intrusive, using a lot of resources, and hard to uninstall. Junkware at best. ESET, BitDefender and Kaspersky are three examples that offer far superior antivirus protection while using minimal resources. They also score better than Norton in all aspects of antivirus protection.

Well it depends.. for basic protection go with Windows security and also the tool I shared
WIndows Defender has made signifcant improvements over the years and offers very robust protection if it is setup correctly.
