I think he is doing more than what is conventionally considered to be breaking, he is taking it to a level where its just pure dance. of course then we can have a discussion on what defines breaking, what is dance, and on and one. What i mean is just what he did is not just good when you evaluate it within the parameters of breakin, but also in a broader scale of dance, or even artistic expression.

Pacpac's style is dope but he wastes a lot of time doing slow-mo animation stuff. That stuff is good in small doses and can absolutely destroy a beat, but it's the same reason Cloud isn't competitive anymore. At this point it's really starting to disrupt the flow of his sets.

its breakDANCE i totally agree but it is also BREAK, not just random weird moves even to the music. there should be foundation that describes this DANCE as BREAKdance u know. It is just originality trend everyone tries to follow. If u are bbou ur musicality and oorginality should be based on true bboy foundation moves. +Илья Михин i can totally see what you mean and i respect your opinion but imo people should try to make their dance evolve and go beyond the foundation. the thing that's keeping me interested and motivated is that i see new original moves everytime i watch a battle. if everyone would keep on using nothing but the same foundation it would get boring and i would stop caring. and how can originality be a trend? a trend is everyone doing the same, originality is everyone doing something unique. quite the opposite. what original bboys like pac pac, issue and bruce almighty are doing is definitely "real bboying" in my eyes

Other side of the coin is that original move in itself does not mean its dope. Thats the point. And real originlity always based on foundation not on a random stuff. Thats why there are original bboys and original dancers, u see what i mean? Everything should be balanced. Nothing original - bad, only original - bad 2. Why we appreciate some random moves but does not appreciate a high speed and sharp six step? I am sure born for ex can smoke 90% of todays "originalities" with sime basic footwork.
