My workplace is just around the corner from a Dollar Tree in one direction and a Dollar General in the other! However, since there is also a Dollar General in the town where I live, I like to reward myself by wandering through the Dollar Tree when there are a few dollars to spare on payday or I have something specific to look for. It’s a fun place to poke around in, and they have good quality merchandise!

I do believe it is extremely important to include all the kiddos in all that we do in the house. My children, who are grown and have blessed me with 9 grandchildren, loved Wednesdays. Wednesday was the day that I did my baking and they loved being part of every bit of the process. My blessing, my grandchildren are being taught the same thing as their parents were.

When my daughter was younger, I would drag her in the kitchen and we would bake/cook. She is now 29 and rolls her eyes when I ask her to come help. She will appreciate more when she gets older. That hot cocoa bar, I would dive in. I am not a coffee drinker. That is right up my alley!!!

Incredible! I put a glass jar of marshmallows next to the Kurig machine and it a day. I think I'll take a trip to the dollar store and see if I can duplicate this. I think having children involved in holiday preparations is a way to teach them about the holiday. And to be honest, to me making the preparations are a part of the celebration. BTW you can make super simple cute labels with just paper and a kids glue stick. You just write/print on the paper, cut it with a scissor and glue it on. We use it for labeling jams in my family. The glue stick is super easy to get off as well.
Thanks for the blow dryer trick to removing tags from things from Dollar Tree. I think they use the stickiest glue ever created. If you soak a paper towel in rubbing alcohol or vinegar and leave it on the residue for 5 minutes it usually works . WD40 also works and there is a product called Goo Gone. Your coco bar is amazing and the garland was beautiful. And seeing your girls pitch in with their artistic and helpful hands is always so cool. And yes, totally loving this holiday season
I love the hairdryer tip for removing stubborn stickers! If there is sticky residue left behind, I put a little lemon essential oil on a folded piece of paper towel and rub it onto the area. The sticky goo wipes right off.

I LOVE this Holiday season! I’m so glad you are back! This video was chock full of helpful information and tips! I have been using Undu and Goo Gone and other strong chemicals to remove labels. I never thought to use my hair dryer - but will now. I love all the money saving and beautiful tips for a hot cocoa bar and to label containers! We love hot cocoa at the holidays and I will look for some of the toppings you have found. I found peppermint flavored marshmallows that we will use. They are labeled Kosher/Pareve. I LOVE this holiday season! I am always so happy that my mother and grandmother included me in a lot of preparation work. I learned a lot of skills early and I don't doubt it's why I am so comfortable now! I was able to reverse engineer a special family sticky rice recipe (my late aunt gave it to my mom, and when my mom passed away I only remembered parts of it!) with the help of similar recipes, photos I'd taken of it, my memories, and my father's memories. It was something so very special to serve and everyone I shared it with declared it delicious. What a beautiful cocoa bar. These are the memories that last a lifetime! I like to use heat on those sticky labels for things I don't necessarily want to put goo gone on (like drinkware) and I love to scrub off the sticky goop with a little dish soap and Scrub Mommy!

In USA it’s much easier to find kosher foods, specifically the parve ones. Thanks to all the vegan stuff . Finally I am able to make the dairy desserts in a kosher way and parve.

I’m so sorry I missed the live for this! I can’t remember if I posted this yet or not. I wanted to thank everyone for your prayers and good thoughts. I do have a new job I started 2 weeks ago. I love this holiday season.
I don't have kids. But I love getting my nieces and nephews ,involved in holiday prep. Especially the youngest I just taught her how to tape presents . I love seeing their faces light up ,when they help.

Incredible! I put a glass jar of marshmallows next to the Kurig machine and it a day. I think I'll take a trip to the dollar store and see if I can duplicate this. I think children should be involved in the holiday preparations. It's a blessing and more fun. I LOVE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON. Leah did a great job!

I think having children involved in holiday preparations is a way to teach them about the holiday. And to be honest, to me making the preparations are a part of the celebration.
BTW you can make super simple cute labels with just paper and a kids glue stick. You just write/print on the paper, cut it with a scissor and glue it on. We use it for labeling jams in my family. The glue stick is super easy to get off as well.

Thanks for the blow dryer trick to removing tags from things from Dollar Tree. I think they use the stickiest glue ever created. If you soak a paper towel in rubbing alcohol or vinegar and leave it on the residue for 5 minutes it usually works . WD40 also works and there is a product called Goo Gone. Your coco bar is amazing and the garland was beautiful. And seeing your girls pitch in with their artistic and helpful hands is always so cool. And yes, totally loving this holiday season

I love the hairdryer tip for removing stubborn stickers! If there is sticky residue left behind, I put a little lemon essential oil on a folded piece of paper towel and rub it onto the area. The sticky goo wipes right off.

I LOVE this Holiday season! I’m so glad you are back! This video was chock full of helpful information and tips! I have been using Undu and Goo Gone and other strong chemicals to remove labels. I never thought to use my hair dryer - but will now. I love all the money saving and beautiful tips for a hot cocoa bar and to label containers! We love hot cocoa at the holidays and I will look for some of the toppings you have found. I found peppermint flavored marshmallows that we will use. They are labeled Kosher/Pareve. May your holidays be beautiful and full of light and love!

I LOVE this holiday season! I am always so happy that my mother and grandmother included me in a lot of preparation work. I learned a lot of skills early and I don't doubt it's why I am so comfortable now! I was able to reverse engineer a special family sticky rice recipe (my late aunt gave it to my mom, and when my mom passed away I only remembered parts of it!) with the help of similar recipes, photos I'd taken of it, my memories, and my father's memories. It was something so very special to serve and everyone I shared it with declared it delicious. What a beautiful cocoa bar. These are the memories that last a lifetime!
I like to use heat on those sticky labels for things I don't necessarily want to put goo gone on (like drinkware) and I love to scrub off the sticky goop with a little dish soap and Scrub Mommy!

I love your idea of the small craft jars for individual portions of hot cocoa powder. That certainly cuts down on mess and potentially a wet spoon going back into the large canister!
Shalom Sara for labels on jars or stickers generally I just soak them in hot soapy water…if that doesn’t work I’ll add some dishwasher soap into the hot water..hope this helps..that’s amazing tip with the packing tape ❤ Great Job Leah!❤ yes always involve the kids it makes them feel part of the celebration and build a memories. In USA it’s much easier to find kosher foods, specifically the parve ones. Thanks to all the vegan stuff . Finally I am able to make the dairy desserts in a kosher way and parve.
