RailBlazer is a steel roller coaster at California's Great America in Santa Clara, California. Manufactured by Rocky Mountain Construction, the single-rail roller coaster, which opened in June 2018, is one of only two of its kind in the world (the other being Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas). It is the park's ninth roller coaster and features a 90-degree drop, three inversions, and an off-roading adventure theme.
The ride begins by exiting the station and ascending a 106 feet (32 m) tall chain lift. The train then banks left making a 180 degree turn and entering a 106 feet (32 m) tall 90 degree drop, diving into a tunnel and reaching a maximum speed of 52 miles per hour (84 km/h) before entering a dive loop. The train then rises up to the right into an off-axis airtime hill, followed by a right-facing upwards helix. After the helix, the train makes a left turn and quickly drops, entering a right-facing cutback and a corkscrew. Finally, riders go through an over-banked turn to the left before hitting the brake run.

That looks intense!
the best ride ever i ride one and i was so scary
The guy laughing at the end made me laugh. We need to find this guy and preserve that laugh.
Sean Waz Agree!
That really needs a launch
One of my favorite roller coasters ever, and IMO the best at CGA. gives great ejector airtime throughout the short but intense course
That sudden stop at the end!! Wow!!
this legit had me check if the video was being played at normal speed
damn that was wild
Probably my favorite coaster ever. Yes it is short but it kicks ass!
Este tipo de montañas rusas me dan una paz increible. Son super suaves
Rail blazer is just too much fun
Great ride one of the best roller coasters I’ve been to has awesome air time very good ride
It's a great ride with a few moments of insane air time. The negative is the restraints. The portion that goes over your shoulders are made of heavy canvas and dig in to your shoulders......ouch. After two painful rides, I managed to hold on tighter and keep myself from getting pushed up and into the restraints. Otherwise, it's a great ride. The train completes the circuit at a high rate of speed and doesn't slow down until you hit the brakes.
Today is my first time going on it like fr today and I was nervous but I hate the drop but its my fav now!!!
I went on it 2 times which is my second :)
Before it closed cause my brother wnt on it to face his fear and I thought maybe I'm brave and told him that i will go and he said cap and what do you know I went on it😏
Do you feel a lot on the drop
At first ion gaf about them selling Great America, but after riding this, I am sad.
The track freaks me out!
i waited 2 whole hours to get on this ride yesterday😭😭 ride was awesome n stuff, but i aint going on it again cuz of that😂
Great video bro.
That looks awesome
Holy shit that's fast
Is this speeded up??
Nope.That's literally it's natural speed.

@@Panda5ace I didn't wanna be the one to do it hahaha.
That's what I thought. This seems unreal ;)
CGA was stupid for not getting the moving station setup... works wonders for Wonder Woman (pun unintended).
My friends forced me on this ride and I blacked out right after the first drop lol
Now we need some T Rex
One of the best coasters in California! RMC did such a good job with this! But unfortunately, I have to give it to twisted colossus.
I rode this for the first time last week. It was good, and I liked it. But it felt like it was designed my an AI. Something was missing...
Two questions. One, do you have POVs of the other CGA coasters as well (Flight Deck, Pareiot, Demon, Gold Striker, Psycho Mouse, am I missing anything else?)? And two, will you be going back to Six Flags Fiesta Texas to film their version of this coaster (Wonder Women: Golden Lasso Coaster) and all the other new rides they're added there as well? If so, you should wait until next year that way you can also visit nearby SeaWorld San Antonio when Texas Stingray opens up.
Yes, I have filmed POVs for all other GCA coasters and I will be posting them soon. And to be honest, I don't have plans to visit San Antonio in the near future, though that can always change. For next year, I do have tentative plans to visit Carowinds, as well as possibly parks in Florida. There is also a possibility that I will be relocating to Europe next year for my job, so that could also be a big factor in my future videos as well.
You’re missing Grizzly
How dare you forget Lucie’s Crabby Cabs and Woodstock Express. With their insane airtime and thrilling inversions they’re hands down the two best coasters in the park, perhaps even the world.
Hold on, doesn't this ride have 3 trains, or was RCDB lying to me? And if there are 3 trains, then what's the point? Doesn't seem like operations would be able to keep up. . .
They do, but they only run 2 trains at once. The 3rd train was probably being repaired at the time this was recorded, which is probably why it wasn’t on the track that’s on the other side of the brake run.
I'd be worried about not enough "give" on the rail. A track is usually divided into a lot of smaller parts. Then again, I assume these engineers know a lot more than I do...
Steven Lykowski it’s perfectly fine dumbass delete your comment you stupid fuck
@@hobo3hobo354 who took a shit in your cereal today? sheesh.
@@hobo3hobo354 Jesus Christ! You delete your comment, grumpy dick head!
THAT ONE GUY -_- yikes your the whole fucking circus
@@hobo3hobo354 Living up to the name I see
That looks better than the Wonder Woman
MaddyFR it’s the same thing
Theming wise, yes. However, it's the same coaster.
a "mobile coaster must be" .....is that possible?
😍😍👍
Very Fast!!!
Maybe I’m missing something, but how does a single-rail make a coaster better (or worst?)?
It doesn’t it just makes the ride look cooler
It's called innovation.
C’est hyper violet 😲 c’est fluide ?
Sucks that it stops
Looping coaster 1 looks too intense for me.
Hey coastercrutchfield, love your vids as always!
I'm wondering tho, who or what is translating your video titles into french? Because... Yeah, please don't. It's translating the name of things and it's sacrilegious lol. The park here is called "La grande Amérique de Californie" and this is non-sense.
Hello, and thank you! I do very rough translations, but thank you for pointing that out! I try to keep the original park name, but sometimes I think I don't catch that it is translating.. But thank you for letting me know!
@@coastercrutchfield Same for italian
@@AlexOnRails3 I'm working on optimizing that for future videos now. Thank you for the feedback!
I wonder how smooth the ride was.
I rode it. It's glossy smooth but VERY intense especially near the end
It's very smooth but it can definitely whip your neck and upper body around. I got slightly dizzy afterwards but otherwise great coaster!
There’s a bit of a rattly patch in the final turn before the brake run, but otherwise it’s quite smooth.
how is it a "row" if there's only one person in it :D
omgsolikevalleygirl bc it’s a line across the train and it’s not a column
@@ConceptualCoasters but is it a rectangle or a circle
@@omgsolikevalleygirl it's a row consisting of one person :P a scalar values is also just a 1x1 matrix^^
@@johnuferbach9166 :D maybe I'm just scared of going hyper on ...x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1x1...
@@omgsolikevalleygirl na I think you only need as many 1's as you've got dimensions^^ so only 2 in this case since we are viewing it in 2d :P
Poor quality video compared to others on youtube.
Lol hell no. I’ll pass... I’m joking but this ride do make you think about life choices
first :v
