Hey Kenny, got a cool rebuilding challenge for you: Constant Improvement. The idea is this: in each season, you have to win more regular season games than the previous year. This is interesting because you don’t want your team to be good right away, it should gradually improve. The goal is to go for as long as you can, if you reach an 8th season, you win. That’s all, have fun!
In honor of Kenny’s new kid: “The Father and Son Challenge”:
-Choose 30 father son duos who play/once played in the NBA. For each duo, spin a wheel with all NBA teams and add them to the chosen team (remove teams after they are selected). Then, add the duos in their primes to their selected NBA team in 2K. Simulate a season to see how well they play and how the current teams are affected by it (remove sons who are currently playing).
Bonus: Try to predict which team wins the chip.

Tier lists are subjective it would be interesting to have all the $5 on a team, all $4 on steam, etc. And see which priced set of players is the best. Probably have to use different tier list with one of each position in each price category.
“The Kobe Bryant Rebuilding Challenge”:

The "Limited Trade Challenge" - Spin the wheel for a random Team. You take their conference standing from this past season and get that many number of trades to try and win a championship. So if they were 1st in their conference you get 1 trade to when a championship. If they finished 6th you get 6 trades.... Etc
Every time I here this man say and we back it makes my day just a little better
Looking at the number values, this was made with a very anti recency bias take on who is valued more. Giannis and KD are basically must takes at their price values. Along with PG's besides Magic being on sale too.
It would have to be Curry, KD, and Giannis with either a combination of MJ and Shaq or Kobe and Kareem rounding out the lineup. I'd go with Kobe and Kareem. This lineup would be unmatched at every position by the league's current players. With the only real matchup being Giannis with himself.
Obviously you never know how it will play out in the 2k sim but you can probably make a better team in terms of fit and synergy by not using any of the 5$ options. KG, Giannis, and KD are all awesome bargain option. If it's not against the spirit of the whole 15 dollar pick thing I'd probably use the remaining amount to fill out a bench over taking the most expensive options left.
You could go 7 deep with Curry, Nash, Harden, KD, Giannis, KG and Duncan. Find a defensive wing to give you backup minutes at the 3 and you are golden.
Guard rotation of Steph Nash and Harden give you non-stop playmaking and scoring, and your big rotation are some the best defensive players to ever grace this earth, while providing spacing, playmaking, creation and play finishing.
And then you have KD playing SF, which is a matchup nightmare for most teams.
Mine would be those 3, but take Hakeem and Jordan

I gotta idea, build a team with the highest foul tendency’s, and you must win atleast 70 games, And win a championship, who ever has the most fouls on your team out of your starting 5, you just trade that person, you have 4 seasons to complete the challenge.

The "John Wall-er" challenge. You have to get a point guard with your highest pick possible that you must turn into the best defensive point guard ever. You have as many seasons as you want until he retires but you must :
A) Get 9 or more steals in a play-off game during his career.
B) Beat the current 427 blocks mark set by John Wall during his career.
C) Beat Stockton's 3265 career steals.

Trick R Treat Challenge:
Rules are as follows:
- Randomly pick a team
- Spin the Treat wheel three times
- Spin the Trick wheel three times
- Fantasy Draft your team
- Win a championship in three years
The Treats:
- Coach of the Year: Hire Michael Stauffer as your head coach
- 1st is Never Worst: Pick number one in the fantasy draft is yours
- Mission Impossible: Steal an untouchable player from any team by trading them your weakest player at their untouchable player’s position
- Legal Bribery: Force win a playoff series game (only exception is the nba finals)
- Back for More: Acquire a legendary player from your team’s history
- Lottery Magic: Trade a second round pick for the number one pick on draft night
- Questionable Decision: Force the team with the highest record outside of your team (either division) to cut their best player before the playoffs begin
The Tricks:
- Watch your Step: Injuries are on - 100% at all options
- That’s a Reach: Draft a player who’s overall is 75 or less with your second pick in the fantasy draft
- Second is the Best: trade all first round picks for second rounders
- The More, the Merrier: Run a twelve man lineup for the entire season
- Your Enemy is your Friend: Send a starter player (80 overall or above) to a division rival for their weakest overall player at the same position
- It was Great while it Lasted: Trade your best player away after year one
- THT/TRT: Must draft Talon Horton Tucker by round four of the fantasy draft. Why? Because THT is close to TRT (Trick R Treat)
- Super Sized: Must add two expansion teams after year one - protected players must be at six

I figured with the amount of offense you have with Jordan, Steph, Durant, and Giannis... might as well pick the biggest defensive stud.

You sim 1 year, take the worst team from that year, rebuild them for 3 years, then change to the then current worst team and rebuild them to beat your first team without taking any of their teams players. If you don’t win a championship with both teams you lose
tbh I really would have picked the same team cuz you got shooting, inside defense, perimeter defense, all around scoring, rebounding, dunking and so on, so its an all around team that can get it all done

Do a fantasy draft with every player ever and you put duplicates on. Then you have to win the playoffs with your team. Also you can’t choose who you get you just sim to end in fantasy draft. You are given 5 years to finish challenge.
And I tried this and it’s hard. I mean you could go against a team with 2 shaq’s or 2 jordens.

Day 210 of asking Kenny to Do The Same Overall Challenge, it is everyone in Your starting lineup must be the same overall, and everyone on the bench must have the same overall (Separate overalls for the Bench player and the starters if it’s not clear)

To determine the overalls you should use a wheel for both the starting and bench overalls (credit for the wheel idea to someone who replied to one of my commits suggesting that, will find name soon) you can bump positions to change overalls if that makes it easier

Harden, Giannis, and KD ALL TOGETHER costing $4 is INSANE value. With that being said, this is my team:
PG - James Harden
SG - Michael Jordan
SF - Kevin Durant
PF - Lebron James
C - Giannis Antetokounmpo
Lebron has played at the 4 plenty of times in his career including in NBA Finals so he's not an outsider in the position, plus he can bring up the ball to give Harden rest. Moving Giannis over to the 5 gives him the freedom to dominate slower big men while being able bang down low with the bigger ones. Harden has shown time and time again that he's an elite point guard when given the chance to run the offense, plus he's selfless enough to share the ball and diminish his touches with players at his caliber or better. Finally, Jordan and KD are no brainers for their elite and efficient scoring abilities which allow them to fit effortlessly with any offense. The icing on the cake is that each player is an above average/elite defender when putting in effort. No one will be able to drive on a paint clogged by Giannis, Lebron, and Durant. Each player can hold their own on the perimeter meaning that switching on PnR wont be too effective.
