It's exciting to learn you are adding a formal class in animation to your knowledge base. I LOVE how you edit: matching mood, lyric, beats, cutting on shapes and/or movement...you already possess what many of my peers in Fine Arts/Graphic Arts/animation/photography courses yearned for: a distinct and recognizable "voice", AND you can infuse your work with EMOTION. Your passion infuses your work with emotion (or it would not be available to those of us who view your work) AND your individual STAMP/style/resonance is intrinsic to each video. This is no small thing. Your work LOOKS like YOUR work, yet it is not a retread nor redundant, as each video is married to the songs chosen. This is a high compliment, as I found in post secondary art classes (where every student is gifted or has worked hard to become proficient) some had greater technical skill than I (which was daunting, but as you can develop skill with time & hard work, ultimately INSPIRING), others possessed what seemed to be natural gifts in composition/an awareness of negative space/a knack for perspective...but again...each of us had worked hard to get to that point & each had individual "strengths". Ideally, you learn FROM not only your profs as well as your classmates, and the positive comments that were most often said about me (both behind my back & rarely, to my face) was that what made them jealous was that I possessed a style unique unto myself....and that my works made people FEEL emotion. KUDOS to you. I have faith you will preserve within yourself these positive qualities and add more knowledge and experience to your already significantly IMPRESSIVE work.
