A big mistake i made on my driver test is taking my hand off the wheel while sitting at stop lights, i still passed but that is a big thing my driver instructor told me
my instructor never told me that was bad

I sometimes just sit one handed while I’m out by myself but yeah always keep it at 10 and 2 when you’re taking the test especially.

@@NameTaken_ not really, it's way shorter than you'd think and I didn't go on any main roads. Only at the start and the drive back. All the skills testing is done in neighborhoods

I failed my test 5 times I’m a single dad and I try not to let it get to me when I fail but honestly it makes me feel pretty bad about my self I have my 6th test tomorrow and I’m honestly pretty nervous and I don’t want to fail again I really want to do better for my family and my son and my self I feel like dead weight sometimes

@@SydA_915 am here to answer the question for you, I just took the test & passed. They don’t really ask much, they just make sure the car works fine, brake lights, signal, etc.

3 is the most important lesson I needed to learn cause I can’t get a perfect on everything.
The dmv sucks with appointments the latest they have is December 12 I have to wait for almost a month

@@ivynicolich hey man, you’ll be fine, I’m 3 days in and I’ve only got the test left, I feel super prepared and expect to pass pretty easily. Just pay attention, take notes, look over them and you’ll be perfectly fine. The permit test is way easier than the class test, and if you just take the permit test outright, thats even better. Don’t sweat it, you’ll be fine

Aw thank you my dude!❤ I feel like this was meant for me to see this bc I'm going to get my permit then license finally at 38 yrs old in a week.. I'm frickin scared bc I have PTSD from driving...hence y I didn't get my license before now.(other than my mom didn't let me as a teenager which probably would have helped had she lol)

Proud you...I ended up not being able to get my permit bc I covered for my abusive ex/daughters father when he backed uo into another vehicle yrs ago ... so when u went ti get my permit the lady told me my license is already not available till I clear all that junk up🫠🙃

They ask you to step on the breaks flick both lights then the left signal and then the right and then after that they will make you move your car ac but they say froster wish counfused me but it’s stands for car ac and then for the whole drive just try to stay calm cause anxiety can get to you.
