I worked with him on a GQ shoot outside the Alfred Dunhill Club in Mayfair, he's a complete Gemtleman and along with Daniel Radcliffe the nicest guy Iv'e ever had the fortune to meet.

Daniel the JK Rowling under the bus, as well as Johnny Depp. Being a gentleman means being nice even under pressure. It was really fashionable for actors to attack fans if they hated their movies, but Henry never personally attacked critics of Man of Steel. He didnt take the easy choice that was presented him.

Not in Netflix show. As a fan of Witcher books it was painful to watch first season and i can only only imagine how painful it was to Henry to play Geralt in this show.

People make a big deal of his looks, and he is handsome indeed. But what I love about him the most is his sense of humour. He's quick-witted comments and response makes me laugh every single time. lol
Honestly, I'm usually turned off by abnormally attractive men like; Henry, Jensen Ackles, Chris Evans etc... but what changed their attractiveness level was when I realized how down to earth, humble, gentlemanly and nerdy they are.
It's funny because I think subconsciously I seem to believe that the more attractive a guy is, the more egotistically dickish they are. I just assume that they must be Jenks and have no talent...
I avoided watching Supernatural for years because they had 3 very attractive leads so I assumed that they must be horrible actors... I was wrong. Lol.

Russel himself had the same story. As a child he met an actor, I think his parents owned a pub and were catering a film set or something, and that actor he had met as a child played his dad some years later.

Hollywood hates Henry Cavill because he cares more about making accurate adaptations of existing sagas than anyone else in Hollywood. They just want to churn it out and spew it to the masses, fans be damned. Henry Cavill will forever be my favorite .

I really do not understand why he was let go, a great Superman. Best of luck in getting better producers who believe in hm. Excellent actor.
As much as I believe he could be a great Superman, the writing wasn't doing him any favors. As it is, he's the face of a more brooding Superman. A more doubtful and less optimistic version of the character. I would have loved to see him play a genuine Superman instead of a Snyderized Superman, but I get them casting someone else because the tone of Superman going forward in the DC movieverse is much more what he's like in the comics and the contrast with the Snyder material is just too big. It's due to the writing that Henry isn't even in my top 3 favorite Superman castings, because he would have been otherwise. Christopher Reeve, Tyler Hoechlin, Brandon Routh, in that order, are my favorite castings for Superman. At least they got to portray a version of the character that's more true to the source material. Hopefully Henry can put all he has into Warhammer. Though I wish it had been Warhammer Fantasy instead of 40K, I'm still curious to see how that is going to turn out.
They want a fresh start. They are recasting a lot of the actors for whatever DC story they want to tell. Just like Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn in Joker 2.
I think age played a large role. Cavill's 40. James Gunn is going young for the next Superman, with multiple pictures planned. They're rebuilding the DCU and are gonna start making movies with long term plans, networking with other characters and projects. The Marvel approach.

That story about how he and Russell first met is amazing! And it was so wholesome watching Henry watch Russell tell it.
He really does respond like an absolute nerd and it’s the best
henry is just all class, humble, funny, down to earth, nails every role.. Some how reminds me me of alan ritchson of reacher. Big built, carries his characters persona very well and just classy in person. I hope alan and henry keeps making good movies and TV for many years to come.

In an age where Hollywood seems intent on insulting fans, demonising them for wanting the story they love brought to life that the very least respect the orginal, deconstructing things people love, its nice to have an actor that cares more about the art then the paycheck.

Love how Henry literally has zero ego here about his looks and being so professional about the realities of how important it is to be healthy and fit when doing all the stunts to make sure you're being safe and avoiding injury. I’ve loved this man since The Count of Monte Christo, I capture the Castle, Tristan and Isolde, and the Tudors smh … he’s such a beautiful man 😍
It’s funny that Henry doesn’t know the backstory of the glasses as a disguise. I remember reading that story when I was young where the glass in the glasses was made from the ship that he crashed in because he would melt regular glass when using his heat vision. The glasses would amplify another of his super powers (super hypnotism) where he was subliminally projecting the Clark persona. They actually used this in the original Superman movie (Reeves) when Clark would remove his glasses and he would look like he was growing.

RE: @1:55 there's a clip in one of the Christopher Reeve Superman movies, where Reeve shows what a brilliant physical actor can do: it wasn't played up until he took off the glasses, but you suddenly realize he isn't slouching anymore, his gaze becomes very steady and he even holds his _face_ more confidently. The glasses come off and *poof* THAT's Superman. It's so much more than just the glasses.

Even though the Internet has caused division and polarization, at least everybody seems to be in agreement about two objective facts about our universe: 1. Henry Cavill is perfect as Geralt of Rivia and Superman because of his talent and his passion for these characters and 2. he is a genuinely nice person.
