I found the quilting rabbit hole during Covid, I had never quilted before, and I'm 75. It is the best way to keep me busy, engaged with others around the world, and my friends and family have benefited from my projects. It's a win all round. And The Quilting Bee is within easy driving distance...YEAH!!
Wished I lived near a great place like that. Many of the shops around Portland have closed and the quilt group I was with is no longer either. Envy you.
I used to take a lot of quilt classes at a local quilt shop in my area. The pandemic killed it for the most part. I refuse to do Zoom classes. They have classes again, but nothing like they used to. Looks like a great quilt shop in the video.
Congratulations Quilting Bee. My husband used to travel to Spokane regularly for work. Each time, he’d go to the shop and buy me a quilt kit or fabric. They started to recognize him! Unfortunately, with the pandemic, he hasn’t traveled much. Congrats again from Indiana!!!
Congratulations! I live a few hours due north in Canada. My nearest quilting shop is a two-hour drive away, so what's another hour? Maybe a pit stop on the way to Sisters, Oregon. Hmmm
My best friends of over 40 years lives near there! She takes me there when I visit! When she visits me I take her to Missouri Quilt Company! MQC is less than an hour from me!

Wonder why they would feature a quilt store in WA when Sew Yeah is much closer to Arizona, being located in Las Vegas. Honestly, poor journaling. They never even mentioned Sew Yeah in Las Vegas and never made note of the Quilting Bee, which appears to be in Spokane Wa?
KREM2 is a station in Spokane, Washington. USA. That's why they mentioned the Quilting Bee which is in the Spokane Valley and didn't mention the Sew Yeah Quilting shop in Las Vegas,Nevada ( a ? asked in a previous comment). I hope this answers your questions satisfactory. I will definitely have to go there when visiting relatives this summer.
