Refs were crap. Handing out early cards when the only thing that should have been carded was the Tamas tackle, which should have been his first card and a yellow. PK at the end was weak and the Magyars playing a man down the whole match took away from what would have been a fun game. Oh well hopefully Hungary beats Nigeria and takes the 2nd spot in the group.

I don't think that was a goal for Hungary. Poor refereeing on that occasion. Hungary are a good side, too bad they had a player sent off and had to sit back for the rest of the game.

I'm hoping all you Brazilian soccer fans and players that can read English see this.
The way you play the game is disgraceful, and it's obvious that it's the same at all levels of play for both men and women. For all the natural skill and talent that kids develop growing up, it seems as though it's equally important to flop, fall, cry, and attempt to bitch your way to free kicks and fouls. You should be embarrassed, frankly. Brazil does not need to do this, yet it's just painfully apparent every time I watch a national team play. Watch the 2011 WC semifinal WNT vs USA (get wrecked), watch any game that Neymar plays, watch every 2014 WC match, watch every 2015 national team match. It's shameful. Get your shit together. There's a reason you're losing your worldwide power status: every time a referee allows physical play and doesn't give in to the bitch-strategy, you get destroyed.
It really is a shame because stylistically Brazil is probably one of the most ingenious and fun teams to watch while on the attack, but in my opinion it's just completely overshadowed by the lack of honor on the field.
I feel for Hungary here. The referee bought into the flopping and as a result they lost a match that they clearly wanted more. I'll be looking forward to a 12-0 Germany victory over you guys in knockouts.

As a Hungarian I am not keen of our football in the past 30 years. I critcise our football all the time and tryto be fair. Never jujge refrees, other team etc. This time I have only seen the highlight of this game. What I could see is the next : The goal was goal. The first yellow card was not a yellow card ( yes, he pulld his shirt for a slight tens of second,but it is nothing in football nowdays, was not a rude fault, the Brasilian ofcourse floped, as it is usual in Brasil football). The panalty was not panalty. The player just could see there were 3-4 defender in front of him to help the goalkeeper out. He decided not to risk, but fake a fault, because the goalkeeper legs were close to him. Dirty football again. Finally I trust thos comments wich were posted by New Zelander football lovers, because I know they are objective and always prefer fair game raither then unfair victory.

That penalty wasn't as annoying as you say guys. The Brasil player tricked 3 hungarian, and 2 other brasil player was free at the moment.
2-1 is a really cool and satisfying end, especially in 10 v 11.

Storiaron Yes the Brazilian player had a nice run in the box and dribbled past some hungarians, however Hungary's GK Székely made a play on the ball and the Brazilian guy tried dribbling past him real quick then decided to dive after making minimal contact with the keeper. A team shouldn't be awarded a PK just because they made a nice run. Don't get me wrong I am proud of the effort behind the result and of Hungary's defense down a player, but a draw or a fair match where people weren't getting carded left and right at the beginning would have sat better with me. Hopefully we play Brazil again somehow.

but surely just before the brazilian player dived for the penalty he couldve easily went down when the defender clearly clipped his legs, so he avoids going down for an actual foul at first but then dives for something that wasnt a foul...

Clear Penalty and good call by the Reff. The Brazilian was fouled by the defender, and then by the goalie. To say otherwise is just trolling. Hungary goal would of never counted without goal line tech.

Péter Zoltán Im a qualified referee, as sad as it is (i supported hungary) both yellows were correct, you are not allowed to kick the ball away because you didnt like the decision. It falls under unsportsmanlike conduct and is a yellow card. i am highly disapointed that he didnt card the few Brazilians that di the same thing though.

Ben Walker Here is the thing. The guy that got carded for Hungary was arguably their best player and it was so early in the match. There was a guy from Brazil who as you said did a similar thing, but didn't get carded. Why show brazil leniency, but not Hungary? Especially within the first 15 minutes. Makes it seem like the refs had an agenda and made calls in favor of the more popular team.
