I bought one of these recently at $150. It’s decent. I bought it to mod and put more arcade games on it. The mod is done with the hidden MicroUSB port hidden on the module inside the back panel. During the mod process, I discovered you can slip a portable battery in the back to power the whole unit and connect it directly to the microUSB port hidden in there and make it portable.

I picked mine up for $100 during the Target sale in October, very satisfied after installing the Batocera build. Currently making an expanded build with several thousand games, definitely a versatile cabinet
Also, worth mentioning, I got Marvel v Capcom 2 on it, via Naomi and Dreamcast. Both run poorly. All the other Marvel fighting, Capcom Fighting and beat-em-ups run great… But I think it’s either an optimized emulator issue or the hardware in this thing is JUST not powerful enough to run MVC2 in any iteration. That was the dream in buying this. A 2 player, battery powered, arcade controls, portable Marvel vs. Capcom 2… ❤ Great video btw.

It's small and after seeing people who got the full sized cabinet for only $200 I'm a bit jealous. But I don't really have room for the cabinet and I can play the countercade from my bed or table next to it. So I'm happy
I picked up a cps2 cab for $500. Unfortunately xmen had an ic eaten up by the battery...rest of cabinet was fine though 😉. I now have marvel super heroes and mvc....
try to play galaxian, gyruss, galaga, halley's comet and other games through modding, the bottom get cut off. There's no other way around it. I tried to fiddle with aspects ratio and it didn't work.
Kinda tempted. Should of let us hook it to the tv. or can you? The screen needs to be a bit bigger. and keep the hight. the controller is already wide. The other one is to big for my place. No room. Those games are tops back in the day. Should of put streed fighter 2 turbo in there as well. Maybe ill wait for mvc 2 model instead. IDK. crosses fingers.
I would like to buy a arcade cabinet for my grandkids and myself to play. We have a room with several TVs and different gaming systems, PS4, Xbox etc. Would you have any suggestions for me? I would love a pinball machine but price and maintenance are slowing me from making that decision. I have considered the Arcade1UP VR Pinball and Deluxe cabinets but do not know what is better than the other or newest. I would love to be under 1k but price is not the biggest concern. Fun and low maintenance are the most critical.
19kfox _ question; can you take the guts out of this and build a full size cab , 20in+ monitor, and move the buttons sticks and pcb over? Would it work? Can you output the pcb with n the counter case to a larger screen??
Not having Bluetooth, no hdmi/vga connectors & usb port is just to connect a controller that replaces Player 2 cabinet controller and nothing more are bummers!

Not that I know of. The connection to the monitor is not LVDS, it’s a ribbon cable.
