      Hey,, what kind of run time do you get with that and did you have to swap your ESC for a brushless lithium one?

    • @loyaltyovermoney5942

      @@BrentTheGent1 to upgrade to lithium u don’t u don’t have change esc but as of today I change 1000w brush motor for a 2000w brushless and it came with a 2000w esc I also added 3 speed switch to the controller before my scooter was only going 18 mph barley 20 now I can hit 30 n I’m 240 In fact when I ride my scooter on low settings now it faster then the origina I don’t even use high speed much also when I put lithium I also added a voltage meter more accurate I never had the scooter die on me fully my farthest I went was bout 4 miles but always make it back home with half battery

      @@loyaltyovermoney5942 Good stuff.
      I use mine as I have mobility problems and cant cycle so I was just out at the park with an old mate on his Mountain bike.
      The top speed of 25 mph is more than fast enough for me as I only go slow on the pavement as I cant be charred about or I end up in a world of hurt but if I just take it easy I can use it now and then.
      I think i may get the hill climbing kit as i dont need to top end and i lost many stones in weight since i bust my back up bad... so my 1000 watt Chaos 48 volt gets me up hills not bad.
      I just wished we had better weather here in NE Scotland. ✌🏼

    Change plugs over use block connectors

    Why not this cut all connectors off and solder the wires together instead of using connectors it's a better connection anyways!

      @gbsadventures3710  Před 2 měsíci

      Soldering is a dying talent, since Heath kit went out of business.

    What is the colors are different from the speed controller.

    • @loyaltyovermoney5942
      @loyaltyovermoney5942 Před 3 lety +3

      Not that big of a deal just figure what's negative n positive even if its wrong trust me u will know for example if u connect key switch but the scooter turns on with out key that mean u have to switch the negative n positive wire same with lights etc n motor if u connect motor opposite wires it will turn backwards its like a puzzle just don't plug the battery wrong lol

    • @gbsadventures3710
      @gbsadventures3710  Před 3 lety +1

      On mine, the only plugs I had to modify were the battery plug and the motor plug. All the others worked as shipped. The wire colors were of no consequence.

    Hi when you took off the new connectors on the new controller was it a case of just pulling?

    • @gbsadventures3710
      @gbsadventures3710  Před rokem

      No, there are latches that you need to release. Use a small flat screwdriver, tiny one. One that a jeweler would use.

  • @TheChristianTaoist
    @TheChristianTaoist Před 3 lety

    Derailer would be for an e-bike. Just ignore it.

      On mine, the derailleur was needed, it went to the twist throttle on the right handle.

      @@gbsadventures3710 Interesting. Thanks for sharing that. It just goes to show that there is no set standard and there is plenty of room for variation within the system. Ugh.

      Chinese translate the throttle as the derailer.

    • @gbsadventures3710
      @gbsadventures3710  Před rokem +1

      I am not an expert, but without the controller you will discharge the batteries extremely fast. Thus less distance. If sacrificing some power isn't a concern, you can change the sprocket size. Decrease the tire sprocket will increase speed.

    What does the sport plug do

    • @gbsadventures3710
      @gbsadventures3710  Před 3 lety +1

      The sport plug is for the economy switch. It is usually a red push button switch that allows you to change from full power, max speed, to low power, max distance.

    • @eggroll1up918
      @eggroll1up918 Před 2 lety +1

      @eggroll1up918 Před 2 lety

      Brushed. The way you can tell is brushed motors have two wires that go to motor. Brushless will always have 3 wires to the motor and sometimes 5 small wires for 3 hall sensors and + -for hall sensors. .
