Can it be mounted on a tripid? if so which do you reccomend

All Panasonic Camcorders can be mounted to a tripod or other standard 1/4 20" tripod thread screw.
For tripod recommendations I would talk to your local electronics retailer or camera specialist as tripods have varying features & pricing depending on your needs.

I also have v160. The screen is difficult to see when shooting outside the home. The light and clarity of the screen are insufficient. Do you recommend me to buy v180? What is the difference between v160 and v180?

You can compare specs between camcorder models at Panasonic.com but apart from a wider focal range there's not much difference between the V160 & V180.
The LCD screen stays the same.
Stepping up to a V785 or V800 will give you noticeable difference.
Best to take your V160 to a camera specialist & compare in store side by side for peace of mind.

Question: I can‘t see my videos after connecting the camcorder to my iPad usting the USB cable. I recorded the clips with the AVCHD mode (no idea what that means but maybe thats the reason?) and now I can see that there are documents in the folders but my iPad can‘t play them. The pictures work just fine I can access those… does anyone know how to fix this? Should I use the mp4 mode from now on? Bc I want to edit the videos on my iPad not on PC
Thanks to anyone that might help (:

Hi there, from what I can tell, iPads don't recognize the AVCHD Codec which are more common in camcorders so you'll need to convert the footage with a 3rd party app on your iPad or switch to recording in MP4 format.
      Hope this helps,
      Cheers,
      Team Pana

@@PanaStudioNZ thanks a lot that eventually worked After I found an App that fit the requirements! (If anyone Else needs the App it's just called convert and the Logo is a Blue Film Roll thingy with 2 arrows on top)
Anyone Reading this: have a lovely day :D

The HDMI is clean? For streaming without showing battery hub and things like that? Also, its a normal size HDMI output or a microHDMI output?

    • @PanaStudioNZ
      @PanaStudioNZ  Před 2 měsíci

Unfortunately, V785 HDMI output is for TV playback only and cannot be used for streaming or external monitor. It is micro HDMI size

@@PanaStudioNZ yeah I found out after buying it. But with an adapter I could stream anyway and it has an option to not show the hub stuff in screen.

If you tilt the screen to the "selfie" mode the HDMI is clean. I use this camera for B-roll, but most of the time for streaming, I use it for streaming townhall meetings via Teams, or use it as my webcam. For streaming I pair the camera with a feelworld monitor whch has passthrough and this works like a charm.
