- This is a Campground Review on Twin Lakes RV Camping Resort. It is an Encore RV Resorts Campground which is part of the Thousand Trails option called Trails Collection. It is located in Chocowinity, NC. If you have a boat, you should bring it. There are 2 boat ramps and a dock. It is possible to go to the Outer Banks , by boat, from the campground.

Nice review. We have a Thousand Trails membership and have been wanting to try this campground out because we only live about an hour from it. We are thinking about going to it next weekend. It looks nice, but I hate that the sites look kinda muddy. If we do go, hopefully it won’t rain!
