I did this therapy, super grateful I did. I Was on medication assisting programs for 8years. Yes that help me not harm myself but I was stuck dependent on something that ate at me everyday. That made me feel not ok. I tried tapering off many times only to get back on methadone or suboxone, I tried it all. Just 10 days of IV was worth it for me. I'm 10 months completely clean what I like to call. On suboxone I was clean but not completely. Im truly grateful for NAD+ IV THERAPY!. Now I can live a complete life

I relate to that so much, I have been addicted to heroin and fent for 10 years. I’ve been on MAT for the last 5 years and I tapered all the way down and relapsed. I went through a treatment program and I really want to stay sober, I just can’t seem to get off the medication. I don’t feel my true happy self. Yes I’m safe, but I’m not at my full potential. How much does this cost?

@@Fireball1974 I been there before kicking benzos. Not this time with the NAD+ but 6 years ago. When I was there at the clinic doing my NAD+, there was a guy coming off benzos which he was on for 15 years. He seem to be doing better and when I came in he was doing NAD+ for 30 days straight, he 35 days in total. I remember him saying he couldn't sleep and still had other minor symptoms. He did have nourathapy pain at the same time tho. But from it seemed to me he got better

@@JConnorJohnson my story is the same as yours as to addiction, other than me doing methadone and benzos at one point ( I didn't come off those this time other than suboxone and an antidepressant). @@Fireball1974 Yes. It doesn't help as much as it helps alcohol, opiates, and amphetamines. But, I have found benzo patients to need the most help. There is some research on BPC-157 and benzo acute withdrawal. But find a doctor that specializes for medical advice. Julia Britz, ND was a friend of mine while she struggled in med school because of benzos and now specializes in this condition.

And my mother who is 84 years old, has been taking NMN (precursor to NAD) for four months now. I got off the phone with her today and she says she feels like she’s 16 again! Before Christmas she was using a cane and propping herself up on furniture as she walked around the house. Today she is back to being the super woman. I knew her to be growing up. They’re trying to take. NMN off the market as a supplement. It’s a natural molecule and we are fighting to have it stay on the shelves! @@thomasingoglia2227 congratulations! I’m curious.. did it actually help the withdrawal symptoms? Or did it just speed up the process. I’m considering this treatment but I’m skeptical. I’ve been on prescription for years if I skip a day I’m horribly sick.. you mention it curbs the cravings but what about the actual symptoms associated with detoxing. Restless legs, nausea, anxiety, cold sweats etc ?

@@ChristiannTyler Just a reminder: I am not a doctor. This is not medical advice. These are not approved therapies.
The nonpublished research that my nonprofit has done has shown that it speeds up the process and lowers withdrawal symptoms. They amounts and ways that it does this is dependent upon the drug.
For example, we would do COWS scoring for opiates. There are fewer symptoms. It does however speed up the process for some of the longer-acting opioids like methadone and suboxone. Suboxone and methadone seem to be out of your system after a long long time. Some people complain about it being around for weeks and months and seasons without the IV.
A drug like hydromorphone or alcohol is in and out of your system quickly. There is not a lot of post-acute withdrawal with or without NAD.
Benzos tend to have post-acute withdrawal regardless of NAD but less of it.
Withdrawal, post-acute withdrawal and cravings are all different to me. Cravings are the enjoyment to a drug that you stopped using or the need to feel normal with the drug. NAD seems to help with all these in big ways.
Methadone, Suboxone and Benzos still are tough addictions to kick.
I remember the first client we had that came in who was already sober. He got through one of the toughest aspects of the addiction to buprenorphine. "I kicked buprenorphine, but I still do not feel normal. What if I come in and do NAD. Will I feel normal again or will I still feel dull, lifeless, and have an urge to use?" He walked away feeling normal again.

It also provides a sense of deep introspection which helped me identify and heal from the root underlying causes of my addiction.
