- First published in 1908, this week's featured hymn, "He Will Hold Me Fast", was amended and rearranged in 2013 by modern hymn writer Matt Merker. "I wanted to see the resurrection and return of Christ featured in the lyrics, since our hope is guaranteed by the reality that Christ has risen and is coming again", reflected Matt. "Raised with Him to endless life, He will hold me fast, Till our faith is turned to sight, When he comes at last!"

Stumbled on this, BEAUTIFUL.
We used to sing the same hymn 40+ years ago in a small church in Oakland,California. I can only find it in one old hymnbook. So very grateful that this hymn has now been given new life. Thank God for each of these brothers and sisters who bring this incredible music to us.
