- Single segment play through of vanilla Quake II on nightmare (hardest) difficulty . This was the first FPS game I ever played and got me into the genre. Was incredibly fun revisiting it. I tried to go for all the secrets but my memory began to fail me towards the end of the game. Incredible game.
Played using Yamagi Quake II v7.43. No cheats or external tools are used. The only non-vanilla setting made was using Yamagi's 'ignoretrack0' function which allows the music to continue playing after an objective is met. Normally the music goes silent. - Hry
Wish you did more commentaries. You were really entertaining to listen to during the 1cc marathons.

this is my first exposure to quake. opening cutscene: fucking awesome, akin to the likes of halo ce.

Hi, thanks. It's just repetition. I don't practice single levels or anything, just go for an attempt. Fail. Try again next time I have some free time. All there is to it.

Is Nightmare difficulty unlocked after beating Hard difficulty?
Normally yes, but you can input a console command to unlock it at the start.
