I don't know about tech through the lens but for everyone asking about lenses, if you don't want to spend an arm and a leg, I would recommend these three lenses- canon 50mm f/1.8, canon 18-55mm STM, and canon 55-250mm STM. They are all great lenses on a budget. If you want something for sports and wildlife photography and you don't want to spend over $1,000 I purchased a Sigma 150-600mm contemporary lens and it does a fantastic job.
Would you say this camera is good if I only want it for good professional pictures of my newborn and family portraits so I don’t have to pay a photographer?
I've only had the T7 for about 5 days and I can already tell you that I am going to love this camera. Taking setup shots for pre-graduation ceremonies, family photos over the weekend, and testing the zoom lenses has been a joy. If you want video, get a digital camcoreder.
I got this camera to shoot short films on. I am in college and the 4oo dollars for this camera is literally all I could scrape up and still be able to eat for the month. So far, after a couple of weeks of use, I love it! As long as you have fairly good editing software, you can do just about anything with this camera.
I have two cameras. The canon rebel xs and t7. They are both great. I've done professional work with both of them. Just last weekend I did a grand in low light with the t7 and a 75 300 4 lens and the stock 18 55 2.8 for the outside wark. The pics were great and thr graduate was thrilled. Its skills with what you have. I started photography when I was 18th and I'm 69 and still learning.

Hello... I actually bought this camera to begin portrait, events, and sports photography. Will it perform at a beginner level until I am able to purchase a more expensive camera? Also, which camera should I upgrade to once I have moved up my skill level in photography?
No response to this from anybody? Wow. Le bummer. (I’m formally new to photography so I’m curious about what you were curious about a year ago.) How is your photography journey going as of this past year?
@@saintjabroni I’m no professional, but I’ve done a lot of research since I bought my wife one a few months ago. From what I understand this camera is good for portraits and modeling photography due to the sensor is the same as a lot of the higher end models. But, the T7 is on the slower side so it’s not great for fast moving photos or sports. I imagine this all depends on the lense and it’s Focal ability as well. Hope I helped maybe a tad 🤷🏼♂️
Good stuff my friend! While I would like to capture my RC Planes in the air, the main objective for this camera would be thumbnail images for my videos. I already have a nice camcorder for my videos.
I purchased the T7 in July and love it but after taking pictures of my kids playing baseball and softball I have decided I want something with faster burst mode so I have been looking at the 90D now.
You'll probably remove this, but I've had mine for two years and I don't like it. The images are almost never crisp, even with a tripod. Especially if I zoom in and crop later. I'm increasingly frustrated with it. The shutter button is placed so that it is difficult to press it without causing motion to the camera. The color is often off. I wish I had spent more money for a better camera because I feel like I threw my money down the drain with this one.
I would definitely recommend the SL3 rather than this. It’s $700 but if you get it refurbished then it’s essentially the same price. 1080p 60, built in image stabilization, amazing autofocus even in video, 4K ( which I never use because crop) and a flip screen. It just fixes all of the issues BAM 💥
