How to Actually Talk To Dispatch in LSPDFR! - GrammerPolice Mod Showcase

- Today we check out a plugin called GrammerPolice and extension for it called Immersive Backup that allow you to actually speak to dispatch using your microphone to get backup, set our status and many many other things!
I am still learning how this system works but I think I have figured it out. I also took the time to add a few custom trigger phrases that I naturally wanted to use that weren't in the files included so that helped with reliability.

Since there wasn't a video yesterday you guys are gonna get double LSPDFR uploads today! We are checking out a slick lookin unmarked Silverado and end up in a pursuit with a box truck and an astronaut... You can't make this stuff up...😂😂

If you think my graphics look good in this older episode you should check out my latest since I'm using NVE now and have the game settings maxed out. If I remember right I think this was just VisualV with my custom ENB profile and only on high settings.
how did u get the immersive dispatch to answer when saying something? i have better ems and it only goes with imerssive dispatch so i wanna be able to call for ems and get the mod im using
In the settings menu, you can check generic response to get dispatch to basically just say copy that for immersion. I think that is in the grammar police menu though. Cntrl F2 to open the menu I believe.
Windows has discontinued vocal reignition on their last update, along with Cortana getting removed, it says voice access is replacing it but Everytime u speak into mic when it's running with GTA it closes GTA screen as soon as it hears u.. what do I do? Use grammar police or vocal dispatch?
That's really weird, I'm on the latest build of Windows 11 and haven't had that issue. Grammar police is one of those mods that either works perfectly, or not at all,, unfortunately.
Same... Could u take a look at my pastebin of my ragehooklog? Maybe see what could be wrong with it? I know I'm working on getting my uniforms and vehicles replaced and organized then fix my grammar police then I've completely rebuilt the lspdfr part. I'd really appreciate any advice or tips u could give on the stuff I have installed.
What's your button to trigger the dispatch? Mine Is Ctrl but I'm having problems with it..
I have mine set to the left alt key. I've stopped using the voice actions feature of Grammar Police tho. The built in radio function is much more reliable, tho isn't as convenient.

Afaik, you can't change the color of the rims on it tho.
Vocal dispatch is really awesome in lspdfr!
It makes it so much simpler to do things like calling for a tow or a coroner.

How can we get a cheat sheet for grammar police too...that's what I'm looking for
So, by that I mean I went in and actually looked through the files and wrote down what words/phrases GrammarPolice could actually understand for all the different controls it can interact with . The most common mistake I see is people thinking it'll recognize anything you say and just magically respond/react to it and that's just not now it works.
How do you change the key to talk to dispatch? I want to change it to a button on my controller.
As far as I know, there is no way to map the key to a controller button. I've personally have stopped using this mod a few months ago since it doesn't work reliably so maybe that's changed in newer versions.
@@jboyed Thanks for that! I've watched other vids on how to change the ini file but everytime I pull up the default ini file for grammar police, it's empty...
