Hello everypony, the new song is here and it's about twenty percent more orchestral than the last one, guaranteed! Maybe even more, come to think about it. I recently upgraded my computer with more memory and as a result was able to completely overhaul my instrument sections (especially the string parts) and I think It's a big step forward.
Anyway, as hinted in the title, this piece is not based on a single song, but It's rather a collection of various themes from the finale episode as a whole. Some are more prominent than others, since not all fit well with the slow tempo I chose for the song. But you should definitely recognize at least three different songs. And of course, I used each of them only as a starting point for melodies of my own, so this time around it's really much more about my personal take on the whole Princess Twilight's coronation thing (which I liked a lot, by the way), rather than sticking to the melodies of the original songs as close as possible.
Well, that's it for now, I hope you like it and see you all in a month or two with another song.

I can't believe I'm saying this of a person I never met or corresponded with in any way - but listening to his music, and the realization that he's no more and we shall never hear from him ever again - I feel like a part of my heart is gone too. Also at 1:56 where you can hear when Celestia sang to Twilight about her accomplishments, and at 3:08, the bit where they included Twilight's coronation theme into this piece. It adds a feeling of nostalgia, of remembering times gone by. A feeling felt while looking at how far we've come and how far we have yet to go, all of the new adventures waiting for us as we go through this life... TOGETHER!!!!
This is one of those songs that you want to listen to after an incredible victory that you never expected would happen.

I am pleased to announce the launch of a project to get MelodicPony's music performed live. Along with help from Aelipse, we have created a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to have the MIDI file for this song transcribed into a proper score that can be performed by an orchestra or symphony. There is a Facebook group for MelodicPony, a Twitter account for the memorium effort and hopefully a post on Equestria Daily. It’s amazing how this was their last piece. I’m sure they were working on more, but this leaves something in my heart. It’s so beautiful.
This show will forever have a place in my heart. I understand its often looked at as immature, that the fans of it are not taken seriously, but in all reality the truth is the true fans of this show have a heart. We have not only grown as fans of this show, but ultimately as honoraries of love and friendship. This show helps us grow, regardless of what age, because no matter how ridiculous it seems it truly does show the beauty of life, that everyone is deserving of happiness and joy, that we all should live in harmony. Seeing eachother grow is such a bitter sweet feeling, but we are all put on this planet for each other. Notice how the true fans of this show genuinely come together, that no real drama happens within it's genuine fans, because we are centered on love and live in celebration in one another's talents and strengths. Look at the art we all have created, the songs we have sung together, the poetry and literature we have read, everything all the characters love. This show can teach so much about life, and it's all ultimately a heart touching thing. The amount of emotion put into the works, not only the official ones, but the fanworks that are done VOLUNTARILY have so much emotion, to Snowdrop, Lullaby for a Princess, Past Sins, The Moon Rises, My Little Dashie, The Core of The Apple, and so much more! All of this only proves the true delight in this community. We are not only a fandom, but a family!

It is now 2020. I was filling out applications and decided I wanted to listen to pony music. I eventually ran across this and saw the top comment. I continued to listen to the music and began to cry. I've never heard of this dude my whole 9 years I've been a brony and I subscribe to literally EVERYONE. And now I feel so bad that I never subscribed... This is the first piece of music by him I've ever run across. It's beautiful... Hopefully he saw from his far away Equestria that he has one more new follower... I feel so terrible... I love that ostinato at 1:55. Sounds a bit like the Where the Streets Have No Name, which is one of my favorite figures in music.
This song really does suit Twilight Sparkle as a character. It really makes me feel the adventures we've all been on with these cute pastel ponies. It'll be hard to transition from G4 to G5, especially with Twilight's design being changed for her to be an earth pony. She's come so far as the Princess of Friendship; to see that change fills me with concern...and hope.

I've always wanted to be a musician... and one of my favorite things to see is great songs by great artist like Elvis Presley have orchestrated arrangements added to the original vocals of said songs. Well, to continue the legend of MelodicPony, when I become the dream musician/singer I've always wanted to become, I will do the vice versa of what I just mentioned, and add lyrics to these amazing creations done by MelodicPony.
