The fact that it sounds perfect to me, and they still have stuff to work on amazes and scares me
It’s very much the small details that you can only notice after years of doing the thing at a high level, though I will say I noticed the snare dirt on the triplet stuff right away, even to a moderately trained ear some of that stuff popped. But the bass balance and quad stuff was sooo much less noticeable that when I went back and listened again I was like 😧
The higher the level, the crisper the ears 😉

MCM. Marched spirit with this dude in 08 and was around MCM with my highschool group Fred J page. This dude is a legend.
I was taught by him for years and you could write a book on how amazing he is.
