That's truly inspiring! Paul's resilience and determination are remarkable, showing that passion and skill know no boundaries. Despite facing challenges, he consistently rises above adversity and achieves impressive results. Catching a 7lb bass is a testament to his talent and dedication. Keep on shining,
Oh dear, Webby, the flatty that got away, but the feller in the wheelchair had some good fishing with the two rays and a brilliant invention too...!
Another good watch John 👍🏻, I've had the pleasure of fishing alongside that chap , think it's brilliant that his disability doesn't prevent him getting out , he's had rays into double figures. I've lost a big ray at Brunswick trying to get it over that ledge and I am not prepared to go over the railing , but yes a good mark with mostly clean ground it's just that ledge that puts me off , til Ur next vid m8 👍🏻
Great to see so many people fishing and enjoying life well done guys
Great video johno well put together Great place to fish for smooth hounds too all the best from Paul from Staffordshire England 🇬🇧 👍
Hi John you ok pal, well done to the chap in the wheelchair. All the best from GRIMSBY

Genius kit that. Wonder if it would work on the back wall of the breakwater in Holyhead!
Good video mate. Well done to uncle paul, he always out fishes me when i fish with him too 😂

Good video John. Great footage on the wall. Good to see your videos again. Keep them coming. Stay safe and tight lines..🎣❤️🇬🇧
Thanks for sharing Webby.😂. Fished Otterspool about 2yrs ago. ( caught a cold 😂) tight lines John. 👍
Paul Thompson lovely fella another good wheelchair angler 🎣🎣
I can explain the Mersey wet wipes 😡 you are directly opposite my house, I live next to new ferry "water treatment works" on the waterfront and every now and then at low tide you see United utilities walk along where the old new ferry pier used to be with wheelbarrows and go and unclog a vertical concrete pipe with a grid over it (about 8ft across) that ejects raw sewage, now, they say they don't to our local green party but how do you explain wet wipes, nappies, tampax clogging up the outlet? Nothing is being treated it just gets pumped out at high tide, we even have a number to call if it smells had and they turn it off. 😡 when I moved up here 25 years ago I used to defend how clean the Mersey is... I know better now . Legends of catching Mersey burgers are true.
Just started watching your videos John thanks really enjoying them good laughs
Brilliant vid mate thanks.
Lived in Liverpool all my life and never seen a Dolphin /Porpoise in the Mersey.
It's a very good sign I hope! 🙏
Well done John nice to see other anglers having a good day of sport.

Cracking video mate
What rods are you using mate
Come and fish with me near Brighton. I'll get you on the rays mate.
Always squid thir for rays m8y good vid tho
fished that mark many times John
Porpoise not dolphins there mate 🤣 the porpoise love the Mersey because it’s murky it’s how they prefer to hunt , dolphins prefer clearer waters to hunt
Its nowt to do with the bait Rays, as long as its a fish bait, on The Mersey, I won boat trip after boat trip in Rays, a very short 6inch wire leader to keep the bait hard bottom, very good fishermen never figured this out, the rays can't find the bait because the tidal race is horrific, never either fall into the Mersey.......Wire is heavy, short length on an uptide cast and you will live off Rays for the rest of your life if you chose to eat them.
Keep going john you will get the hang of it 😊
Haha I need to get the hang of something mate 🙈 I’m defo no pro that’s for sure but I do have one of the most watched and fastest growing uk sea fishing channels on CZcams so I’ve gotta be doing something right, even if that something is blanking haha 😜😜😜
@@GAMEKEEPERJOHN quite right matey some people cannot get out and watching your chanel is a feel good factor it's like being there with you I will get my gear together again and who knows we might cross paths?
Dont go a night 😂😂😂😂😂
The title says sea fishing but isnt this the river mersey which is a river and not the sea
Hi there, do you need a fishing license to fish here? thanks!
I'd imagine you need an environment agency rod licence.
Available at your nearest post office, or online.
Good luck with your future fishing adventures.
@@pleasantville4529 not at all it's the sea you don't need a fishing license 😀
where is this location?
Brunswick Quay, about a mile and a half upstream of Royal Liver Building.
It a very popular spot, and is really consistent fishing.

Well done, our Paul nearly beats everyone when fishing the mersey. Even though he's disabled he always finds a way to overcome adveristy. He catches some cracking fish on there. He pulled up a 7lb bass a few years back.
