- WInter is Here! Actor John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) stops by the Rich Eisen Studio to talk his hit HBO Game of Thrones (you may have heard about it), the rabid fan base and his love for Man U.
What a humble and down to earth guy! Hope Mr. Bradley has a blooming career in front of him after GoT.
What a nice comment..
Love this dude! This was his first acting job too. Lol. You can tell how much he's grown from the 1st season til now... SAM THE SLAYER = MVP. This dude is the key to defeating the white walkers.
SergeantMoetz he was on the show about young Merlin. I think it was just one episode, but when I saw him I was like SAM!!!!!
probably not tho
Guy makes like over 300k a episode trust me he's been done good
I've honestly never come across an actor whose interviews I enjoy more than John Bradley. The man is brilliant, humble, witty, and insightful in equal measures.
I couldn't agree more. He is totally brilliant.
Can we just have this guy interviewing GOT actors full time?
Who?? Rich??
The brightest and most articulate actor on the show
Couldn't agree more, I wish he would do all the GoT interviews. Not only he has great understanding of his character, but of all the series as well.
Conleth Hill is definitly up there.
Or Liam Cunningham ..not as well spoken but definitly witty!
@Linternauter so British...cool
This guy seems really nice to chill with
Have to say, I laughed right through that montage with Sam Tarley. It was a risk to do a scene like that but the comedy worked because of this guy. Something really funny about him
Kevin Wilson it was absolutely hilarious. I burst out in floods of tears laughing. He did it so well. Especially the gagging reflexes! Probably my favourite scene purely for the comedy value.
John Bradley does the best interviews out of the entire cast and is one of the wittiest
Cool dude. I hope he stays working after Game of Thrones ends.
Surprised you didn't say "first"
Trigerman333 Nah, I am not a virgin.
Trigerman333 oh snap snap snap
Then it would end up like Dexter and Dr. House. I'm glad they are going to end it with just eight seasons.
What a great fucking interview.
Don't forget the parallel between Sam at the library and Arya at the temple of the faceless god. Both undergo menial tasks to take away their egos. But we've seen where that took Arya, and even episode 7.1 shows Sam making significant discoveries.
John is so very eloquent, he's a pleasure to listen to
John really understands Samwell, I cannot stand it when actors do not connect with the character's they play.
Such as??
@@ahyaahya2447 , Stephen Dillane who played Stannis. Last I read, he had a hard time understanding the character's arch and relating to the middle Baratheon brother.
@@rivermistfae ahh i see..but eventually he could...what a profesional actor he is ( Stephan Dillane)
John Bradley is excellent and grossly underrated! 💗
Loved this interview! Talked about Game of Thrones AND Manchester United! Haha can't get better than that!
The Hh Two of the things I love the most... Add the Timberwolves and I'm good for a decade just watching interviews... yup, my life is that great
I cant wait to see this lads career flourish after GoT
He seems really smart and articulate, unlike most airy fairy actors. Hopefully he becomes a director/writer.
Rich Eisen does great interviews.
I love this interviews!!
Please, invite more of the cast!
Greetings from Uruguay!
he's so handsome
Rich Eisen is a great interviewer. Love John Bradley!!
Really good interview, Bradley looks like a really chill guy.
"I read the book and followed the instructions."
rich risen talk bout the wait for the show was long meanwhile I've been waiting for the winds of winter for like 5 yrs
this man is so well spoken..every interview
He did DM a Critical role episode. Can't wait to see it
just caught this and kit harington interview, what a great interviewer rich is, just comes across very natural like a chat between pals but with decent direction.
What a charming and all around great dude. Respect.
Hahahaha he brought up the Varys merman theory!
John has lost some weight, he looks incredible! Great interview
so is the actress who played Meera Reed on soon? sorry... there's 3 people that have killed white walkers, (in order) Sam, Jom, Meera
Patrick Haines aswell as jon
Im guessing jom is from the books.
"Jom Snow" - I don't know why that's so funny to me.
Jom and his father Raggar
John, you're looking seriously lean. Handsomely so. And your voice is so melodious, I wish you would read some of the upcoming GoT books to me.
Such a delightful fellow.
he's the master of not spoiling a single shit...
He's funny as shit.
please get in more GoT actors :D
hell, get paul pogba! :P
Hang on! Meera Reed killed a White Walker too!
He said: "We've had (so far) the two people who have killed white walkers on the show". That can be mean, next week (if) he might be invite Ellie Kendrick, then he can say: "We've had the three people who have killed white walkers on the show."
Lasmar, R. then he should have said: "we've had two (of the) people who killed a white walker on the show". Saying "THE two people" implies that that is all of them.
I envy Sam for being able to spend so much time with Hannah Murray (Gilly) she's soooo beautiful 😭🥺
Post soup.... that montage, though.... insert [me puking]
Rich is pretty damn sneaky in hi approach. he knows that you can just toss out a question as hope that the answer wanders a bit.
I've heard the merman theory this week!
Cool man united segment
Samwell Tarley is my favorite character on GOT.
I can see Samwell curing Jorah Mormont of his greyscale and giving him Heartsbane, his families valarian steel sword. On condition he agrees to fight the White Walkers.
Meera also killed a White Walker too Rich. Come on
He said: "We've had (so far) the two people who have killed white walkers on the show". That can be mean, next week (if) he might be invite Ellie Kendrick, then he can say: "We've had the three people who have killed white walkers on the show."
If he had said "we had two people..." you'd be correct, but he said "we had THE two people...", so he was simply wrong.
HAHAHAH Lord Varys is a merman! That's brilliant
So Sam definitely isn't dying this season? He said he's coming back for shooting season 8
Now they need to have the actress who plays Meera as a guest as well! Another One of the 3 people to ever kill a White Walker.
Everyone always forgets tho! Meera killed a WW at the 3 eyes Raven cave with a dragon glass spear!!!
he totally spoiled that he wont die this season
Kind of expected. Who would have killed him and why.
tommy4862 But now I know a huge book isn't going to fall on his head and kill him in the library. Totally ruins the show for me.
Well i mean, his father and brother may well be killing him this season for stealing that sword
cempas They would probably be too busy with all the shit that's going in Westeros
If you catched up with the latest episode, his father and brother will not be a problem in Sam's life anymore.
"Varys is a mermaid" *sigh* Of course when you put it like that it sounds silly. What's really going on is that Varys is part of a group of merman realestate magnates in league with Littlefinger. Their goal? To melt the lands of always winter by returning dragons to Westeros, thereby raising the sea level and opening up prime landfront properties. It's well supported in the texts www.reddit.com/r/gameofthrones/comments/1gvbr7/all_spoilerstheory_the_best_theory_about_varys_i/
Sooth Moth That's still silly hahaha
Fɘed Back Just wait until you find out about the time travelling feotus theory ;)
Or Roose Bolton being a Vampire. Obviously that one will never be confirmed in the show now that he dead...
Sooth Moth "Varys is part of a group of merman realestate magnates in league" lmao
Only Throner to make the cut for Kit's bachelor party weekend.
OH MAH GAWD, THERE IS A GIANT HORNET ON MY WINDOW BEHIND ME!!! HALP!!!!!!!
rip
Trigerman333 Are you okay?
Owen Bollard It attacked me and I was forced to kill it. (Mother fucker stung like a bitch holy fuck)
Hahaha
Shoutout to us Mancunian's!
hes the best!
Meera Reed also killed a white walker ;)
Well he did spoil 1 thing tho... hes alive and will be in season 8 cuz he said shooting starts in the end of this year.... people who are dead in the show wouldnt have said that they would be saying it in a different tone... bradley said it as if hes gota go back to work
to remain spoiler free stop this video before that question after 15:48 :-(
Confirmed he doesnt die this season haha.
3:21 as Crtl Alt X said - at the Citadel Sam's scooping soop and scribbing poop)
Why would u ask their theory, let alone not being thru the season yet. Clearly their theory is based on what has already happened
Anyone else see the guys who waved their arms
When he gets asked if he knows how the show ends, he touches his mouth immediately and says no. I think he's lying and knows he has to be careful. I'm pretty sure all major characters that live past season 7 know the ending
look at the guy in the backround at the window 2:25
He can't tell you his theory because he is privy to information that we are not. He is obviously not going to have a theory in which characters that die this season are still a part of for instance.
At the end of The Game of Thrones. he will be the only one still alive. he'll be the one to close the book and end the series.
Kinda reminds me of the end of Stargate Universe serie
Is Rich Eisen the version of Louis C.K. that is more fit and has broad shoulders?
Just realized...does Sam know anything at all about what's happened to Jon?
Hadrian Augustus I guess not? After the premier some people thought maybe he'd been told about Jon's murder and subsequent resurrection but I think it was all over so quickly that he just never got told. (God, could you imagine Sam being told that Jon was murdered?) Anywho, I guess we'll find out depending on where he sent that raven. If it went to the Wall, he never know and assumes Jon is still LC. If it went to Winterfell, then the show closed over an emotionally grueling information exchange.
Hadrian Augustus awww that's so sad! :(
Hadrian Augustus That's actually a really good question. Considering Cersei knew in Kings Landing, you would think the citadel would be informed too (being the centre of all knowledge and all that). But eh, who knows.
his so cute
i love Sam.
love sam! but he spoilers he wont die this season :p
John Bradley had a better people's eyebrow than the Rock.
Oh look how wrong john Bradley was 😂😂😂
Meera Reed also killed a white walker in the episode, The Door. Get your shit together Eisen!
He said: "We've had (so far) the two people who have killed white walkers on the show". That can be mean, next week (if) he might be invite Ellie Kendrick, then he can say: "We've had the three people who have killed white walkers on the show."
Lasmar, R. Then he should have just said "two people" not "THE two people" because "the" implies (only).
Lol
Mira reed killed a white walker too. The episode where hodor died
John Bradley comes to you show and you ask him about football? Seriously?
Oh, I didnt know it is a sports program. But then it brings me to the question: John Bradley in a sports program? Seriously?
Just riding the GOT hype. Not that I complain... I liked both interviews
Love the actor dont like the character
Meera Reed killed a white walker too..
well actually *Pushes up nerd glasses* Meera Reed actually killed a white walker as well.
Mira killed a white walker to
BRING MEERA REED ON
Seems to have lost some weight, wp.
Interviewer did not know much about GoT; bad questions and banter.
