I think it was a privilege to have grown up in the 90s. I love me some SWV.💜
The bridge on this track is just totally mesmerizing😍I can listen to it over & over still has the same effect & it definitely brings back memories😁
I can listen to these classic SWV hits and never get tired of them
If U listen to this song like 3 or 4 times in a row, u will realize what a gem this song really is. Who agree??
Taj is just so beautiful
Yessssss Kelly Price with those Background vocals 🖤🖤
I feel sorry for this generation. They will never understand the greatness of the 90s era.
Kelly Price is killin' those background vocals!!! ALWAYS loved her voice
I don't hear Kelly Price. These girls didn't use others ti do backgrounds.
@@terrancemaloney29
Yep, they did on this song & true Kelly & Faith Evans fans could always spot their voices on background vocals. She's all over the bridge
As a teenager growing up in the 90s I feel so privileged to hear such voices!
The bridge - especially its beginning - sends chills through my body.. wow.
I'm feeling the transition from coko vocals into lelee's part 2:39 through 3:05.
@@LovelyTee2323 Lelee can sing very well lol. Who do you think was doing the background vocals 😂🤣? Listen to the albums.
And she can hit high notes too had no idea until I saw her playing around belting high notes
@@LovelyTee2323 she has a couple of songs she sings lead on “Don’t Waste Your Time” is one of them. Her deep and raspy voice wasn’t appreciated by most back then but I appreciated whenever they allowed her to shine!
I wouldn’t have wanted to grow up in any other era, the 90s were everything
That shit was Phat ... Raise the Roof ... WootyWoop .... It was Slammin ... Fresh .... Talk talk to the Hand cause face dont wanna hear it .... Dam that was cold ....
90s fraises that died out LOL
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Shout out to the 80s Babies
This generation will never understand how DOPE the 90s were.✌🏾😎
There can never ever be an era in music like the 90's again, so proud to be part of it.
SWV is the only best female group to work with Deathrow Records & Badboy Records and all were classic joints. Deathrow with Anything(remix) & Badboy with Someone. Golden era hip-hop & rnb forever timeless
1990-1999 will never rest in peace. The best years ever.
@@C.R886 Yesss!. Up until around 2017❤ Donnell Jones, Avant, Glenn Lewis, Joe, 112, Jagged Edge, to name a few .
Haaaaa boyyyy, most definitely! As far as I care, we've been in, at least, a 1990-2005 loop. 😌
Love how the group members get equal camera time! One of my favourite SWV songs along with "Can We"
Coko voice will make u fall Inlove with her
Coko and Taj can work the cameras for sure!
Coko has one of the best voices of r and b. Her alto in this song is amazing.
Who the hell is here in 2024??? I'm about to play this in my car right now and not care. Lol
Such an underrated Superstar group. They have hits!
Taj Was All Up & Thru This Video love she was getting shine😍
That late 90's R&B hit different 🎼🎼🎵 🔥🔥🔥
Memories😌
We won't ever get another era like the 90's. We are not okay.
wish time machines were real. i would go back and somehow stay there lol
Of course we are not Ok... Gen-X really is the Best. We had the best music and the worst luck. Generationally speaking we were the unwanted step children, given the responsibility of raising ourselves and our siblings...
One of my best of the 90s
I miss the 90s and early 2000s before illuminati young rappers started rapping shxt
Sisters With Voices they didn’t lie
SWV fantastic group with brilliant songs!
My favorite SOMEONE songs:
1 Someone to love- B.face/Jon b 1995

The beat still BANGER ✨💥
The Production on this whole album slammin' ! ... 90s was the era
I agree. This song goes well with a romance scene. But, yeah, 90's was definitely the era. No other era like 20th century, especially the 90's.
Sisters with voices, thanks for all your work.
These ladies looking fabulous especially coko.
someone !! take me back to this golden years 90s early 2000 damn lol
Bad Boy Records was the hottest HipHop & RnB label in the Game back then! 🔥😎 #takeover
at what cost with many people careers played with by diddy though lol ... But i definitely agree with you 100%
This song is fire

Puffy....producer's...all up in the videos, all on the records, dancin'....
Great piece of music from SWV ft Puff Daddy. Its 2023 and still listening to this song
This beat n base goes hard in the car. I used to love this joint. I was 14 when this came out. Summer 97'
I really like coko's style!...swv is so pretty!
Damm! wish I cld turn bk d hands of time. What has happened to the music industry?
I love SWV ❤
This is SWV at their pinnacle . The looks all rocked & the vocals gave everything. Third times a charm. The first two releases were everything . This one clicked because they clicked. ohhh and RAIN is my favorite ever. Well there is USE YOUR HEART TOO lol.
the whole album bangs...
Taj look so beautiful in this video..especially when they start showing her @3:27.
This ish was fire and underrated
Finally a clear version! 😍😍😍
No Diddy!!!!!! 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 #LSW
Wow TAJ looks amazing here
Too bad this new generation won’t be getting real music you can feel in your gut and heart and motivate you
Grew up on this music. Black women ruled R&B music in #90s. Coko still saaaaanging decades later during #Verzuz💐💐
Kelly Price said her good writing.
"Players talk the talk but they can't walk it....skill of an actor, wind-chill factor -55 coolest man alive." Might have been the greatest rappers but those lines made me want to walk the talk.
Shumba Mutasa Someone had to write the line for puff because that’s one of best verses he ever spotted in hip hop for real.
Interesting that Coko didn't like this song and called it a "half ass song". Her voice sounds extra buttery smooth on it.
I remember she said that in an interview...she didn't give it her all on this song.
Sometimes artists don't like songs they sing like Otis Redding who apparently hated that hit song of his
There were alot of issues goin on with the group. In listening to 'Release Some Tension', theres an awkwardness that I cant get past. Coko at times just sounded over it. Taj commented on 'I Married a Baller' that she n Lelee were too dependent on Coko. Maybe that had somethin to so w it.
Love this song, say what you want about puff, he made ishhhhh hit. And with SWV …. Chileeeee they ate this song up!
I am very proud of them they are from my neighborhood in the Bronx New York. I went to elementary and Jr High School with Leeann aka Lee Lee 😂
This song always made me emotional. I don’t know why because it’s such a simple song. I still feel it to this day. Ouch. Too much nostalgia. I can’t take it.
another gem that was slept on
Players talk the talk but can't walk it, We make the whole country bounce when we New Yawk it !! Verse itself in the top ten !! ✌️🐐💯
Best era for music!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
When cowboy hats was the ish 🥰
DAMMMM those were the times.....
Summer time in my neighborhood was lit when this song was out! LOUDDDDD from speakers out the windows of the apartments! I miss those days
Wearing sunglasses whilst driving a helicopter at night. Who else but Puff Daddy.... Love it!
This joint is hard!!
When she looks up at the camera ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
1995-2000, those were the golden years of hip-hop/R&B music and EPIC m. videos!
These were and still are some of my celebrity crushes. SWV, Janet Jackson, TLC, Toni Braxton, etc.
Can’t forget about Lil Kim, Whitney Houston, Adina Howard, Kandi from Exscape, and Aaliyah, Mariah Carey
@@jasondawson92 You're right! I love all the Women you listed. Real talk, my celebrity crushes list is so long, and I'm still adding new gorgeous female celebrities of all races and nationalities!
I still love this classic 97 SWV classic song i missed the 90's.
I'm a 90's kid man I miss the music
2019, still rocking to that Diddy verse.
Very Underrated song specially the hook
Crazy how Coko nails were so extra then and now it's so common, she was ahead of time lol
She wasn’t a lot of black women were wearing acrylics like that back then and thousands of years ago
VERZUZ WAS THE BEST!! MY FAV GIRL GROUP FROM THE 90S #PERIODT
Unlike these today's generation of so called music crap including rappers I rather just listen to these kind of old school music like these .
If BIGGIE WAS ALIVE THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A SINGLE FOR THEM. Damn Imagine PAC AND BIGGIE ON THIS REMIX
This and "you should be mine" by Ma$e & Brian McKnight . . .oooh, oooh . . .
Coko is a vocal beast 🔥
