  • Solo Tarp Wild Camp at Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park directly at the shores of Loch Lomond. I used a beautiful Octobers day for a wild camp at Loch Lomond as a start into the weekend. The camp spot is along the West Highland Way on the east side of Loch Lomond, easy to reach and out of the Wild Camping Management Zone - even so in October it would be allowed as the managed camp zones are only from March to September.

      Cheers NHT, Loch Lomond is really a stunning place but to be honest I believe that the whole of Scotland is just amazing.- obviously I prefer the mountains but somehow also nice to see other places when I am short in time or the weather isn't good enough. ATB Stripey

    Just a great little video, I really enjoyed it . Certainly no need to worry about the level of Loch Lomond changing, it’s massive.

      Hi Kevin thanks a lot. Yeah the next view ones will be probably rather wild camps instead of mountains as the weather isn't good enough. Glad you enjoyed it mate😊🙌👍

    How far did you walk from the inversnaid and was it OK to park there overnight ?

    • @StripeyHatGuy
      @StripeyHatGuy  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Paddy, I walked like 40 minutes, but there are already a lot of spots after 15-20minutes. Parking was ok I think as there where 4 campers standing for overnighters. Said this I arrived pretty late after work and left really early as well 😉👍
      Edit: I walked direction north.
