I'm a Roma fan, and had the pleasure of watching him a few times for Sassuolo last season. He is such a talent. I plan on watching some Hammer games this year without a doubt. Shades of Ibra with the size and control.

Benrahma is the prime example of adapting to becoming quick and direct instead of doing too much fancy skill work that delays the attack.
Everything we needed to see, we saw in this game. Scamacca and cornet linkup, Antonio showing the impact he will have off the bench when he can go 100% for 20 mins and Jarrod Bowen proving he didn’t go anywhere. COYI

miss the match yesterday but happy to see the result this morning. COYI !
Being danish and not even a fan of Viborg f.f this game made me proud. Viborg f.f is one of the smaller teams in the “superliga” in Denmark. Having an annual budget of around mio 6-7£ in total. Probably less, than some of the reserves in West Ham makes in a year. The city af Viborg has about 40.000 inhabitants. Great support - with around 600 fans ignorering the diifuculties travelling theese days. Some spend days getting to London - normally you Can get a direct connecting by a nearby airport. That is what makes this game great. Dedication… and the story of David vs. Goliath. Best of luck to both sides

I was intrigued by this team and I was gonna "Wikipedia it", but you gave us all the info we needed about Viborg... and the Fans... Who knows, they might be this year's surprise in the Conference League like another Scandinavian team was last year... Bodo Glimt.
@@jamesthefirst8790 Viborg has spend many years in the second best tier of the danish football Leauge and have traditionally been struggeling when hitting the best tier. Last year - and this - they have been doing better than usally. They seem to have put together a `complete` team, which is being noticed by other competitors in the danish leauge and abroad. Thus, some of the better players are probably going to transfer soon. The average attendce at homegames are around 4.500 (peeking at around 8.500 when playing clubs in the same area of Denmark) the awayfollowing is usally way lover than the support in London. The attendence in London was probably due to the fact, that Viborg has not been competing in European competions for 20 years. For many supportere of Viborg the game vs. West Ham was the game of `their life`. Hopefully you guys will have a nice visit when going to the awaygame. The stadium in Viborg is somewhat cosy, modern and due to the layout of the stands - it is possible to create and sustain a great vocal support. Happy days…
Very happy for Scamacca who scored his first goal with West Ham! I think WH Utd is more competitive this season, I hope to see them to the UCL finals

yes but sometimes he does nothing, it depends on him form he is in innit but class player dont get me wrong
he closes down the player with the ball more than anyone in a westham shirt and that disruption is crucial in my opinion, some of the little flick passes he can do, one which springs to mind from the game is the one where he flicked it to cornet who was then bought down as we were counter attacking, i think lanzini should be dropped and fornals comes in lanzini doesnt really offer anything apart from sideways passing but i do understand that fornals has a slight inconsistency

The headcoach/trailer of Viborg is actually kind of a rookie in terms of experience - this level considering. The last headcoach at Viborg was not long ago cheerypicked by one of the, traditionally, bigger teams in Denmark. It just seems, that Viborg has a strict `gameplan` and can adjust this according to their opponents - who in this game was supperior in many aspects. West Ham probably did underestimate Viborg in advance - which is not to blame considering the differences in terms of history, budget and so on. If needed, West Ham could probably gear up to a level, that Viborg could not compete at. Just happy to see a smaller danish side giving one of the bigger clubs in the Premier Leauge a good fight.
