@@mitziekat9987 oh I see what your saying. Venting on the top would allow that humidity to escape and he wouldn’t have to worry about water on his table. But he would need big enough vents, it wouldn’t even look like a basket ball anymore.
Plant advice! In my experience with snake plants try not getting the leafs wet or spraying them if you do wipe it down with a cloth. I have noticed that the leafs get water damage that leads to rot over time. When you water your plant make sure you take it out of the basket ball and leave it in the sink to drain all the water out. That way it does not leak water in the basketball and stays clean! This project is awesome! ❤
I want an apartment that rents tools😱 Also snake plants have a reputation for being “easy” but it really depends on the apartment environment and who you are as a person. Too much or too little water and they rot pretty easily (too little stunts the roots so they become more prone to overwatering when you do water them). If you think you have a black thumb it’s more likely you just haven’t found a plant that fits you or your home, there is no one group of “beginner easy” plants no matter what social media or google tells you.
Yeah I've killed cacti, a snake plant and a spider plant which are all supposed to be beginner friendly and "easy". Not sure what killed the spider and cacti but with the snake plant I put in in a pot that was too big when they thrive in pots that are very small and it rotted from the crown not from its roots. Luckily there's some life left in the spider plant and I have propagating cuttings from the snake plant. So yeah don't trust the Internet when they say certain plants are easier than others because everyone's care and climate is different
Dude you don’t need to become the real life spencer shay, you are ALREADY the IRL spencer shay. Your videos just inspire me to be a little more like spencer every day ngl👍👍👍
for the snake plant, it can live in low light, moderate light but can struggle in bright light. water every 1-2 weeks and it should do great! good luck 👍 also drainage holes would be great in the basketball so the plant isn’t sitting in the water. that can cause root rot.
At this point though you should probably just buy a drill at least. Just in case. I mean you know how to use it and all. It’s a good investment in general I feel.
I’m astonished at what peeps throw out. I’ve furnished my 3/2 apartment mainly with “found” and some thrifted items. Only furniture we paid for were mattresses and a sectional!! In my county our “Recycling Centers” have a lil metal building in the back of the parking lot where we can leave items that are still useful and useable for others to grab as needed. From furniture to dishes to books, appliances and even art supplies and toys. Really anything. I literally go 3 times a week. I’ve found a ton of things worth a lot of $$ in the resale world too. Also my apartment complex has a building they put “left” items from when peeps move out. Amazing what people just walk away from. Ask a maintenance man in the neighborhood, he’s know.
@@jasonshink6589 I have plenty of tools and plenty of drills/impacts, all that shit. And I dont live in an apartment. It wasn't in regards to my personal needs, it was for everyone else. The basketball may hold too much moisture inside and give the plant root rot. Maybe poke some drainage holes in the bottom of the basketball.
Didn't he say it's a fake plant?
@@AB-vl8rf I thought he said snake plant, the plant he grabbed
He put the drainage pot inside the basket ball. Water will run off

That rental service is top notch
imagine if you hung the basketball plant in the middle of the hoop so it looked like it was going thru
Yes that’s what I thought he was going to do
Same
Imagine if he bought more lights and made it look like a genuine net, and just hung the ball halfway through the hoop. That would've looked awesome.
don’t spray paint that close to the object. it’ll get all gloppy and take forever to dry, plus it’ll leave paint runs when it does
I was gonna say something but seen how bad he was at it so I said whatever 🤣
Doesn’t even know how to use a spray can but is an “aspiring artist” lmao
Couldn’t even get a halfway decent fill in the letters with a Molotow

My guy, try spraying from 10ish inches away and do it in passes so as to avoid paint buildup. Look at some graffiti videos to get an idea.
Make sure to ALWAYS check the furniture you get out of the trash from mold and bugs! There's a probably a reason it's in the trash!
