    its crazy how really small his recognition is considering that he has laid the MOST important foundations in breaking, like ccs, 6 step, swipes, and the baby freeze

    Congratulations to my Primo Spy well deserved recognition to a founder of the original style of breakdancing

      Puerto Ricans didn't have anything to do with the creation of Hip Hop, so how is Spy a founder, father of Breakdancing 🤔

    The bottom line is...people only saw who and what THEY saw...and only in the specific places THEY were at. If you saw Spy first, you believe he was the first one. Batch thinks he was the first. The bottom line is, no one person is the end all be all of everything. And the timelines of a lot of these narratives don't add up. So the forensic level history research work continues. Respect to all the pioneers.

      When did Batch say he was the first? Spy can say what he did, and when, because he can back it up. And it was the streets that gave him his nick name. Yes, a lot of stories don't add up. It's not a coincidence that there are self appointed gatekeepers also involved.

      @tahleimreyes1053 And?? that doesn't make it true. Was Trixie and Sasa supposed to bumrush the stage🤣. Puerto Ricans are not foundational to Hip Hop and didn't create nor pioneer anything in the culture 💯

      @@melanatedwarrior3530 no but he’s not online like yourself making these statements. He’s their excepting his award as a pioneer that’s being given to him by other pioneers. He’s claiming his spot in the foundation of this and making it clear in front of everyone. A melanated warrior should never hate on a true and living melanated warrior who laid foundation in this. Salute that man properly.

    • @melanatedwarrior3530
      @melanatedwarrior3530 Před 8 měsíci +2

      @tahleimreyes1053 Puerto Ricans didn't lay down any foundation in Hip Hop. They just assimilated, participated, and contributed to an already existing culture. You said the key word " his claim"🤣. Alot of Puerto Ricans have been making outlandish unsubstantiated claims in their attempts to rewrite history lately💯

      @tahleimreyes1053 Před 8 měsíci +3

      @@melanatedwarrior3530 no rewriting it is written already. The fact that you don’t know who Spy is and the foundation in B-Boying shows your knowledge is limited and don’t know the culture of Hip Hop in its totality. To be honest just because you don’t know doesn’t mean you can’t learn. You have to do research and as you discover more facts the more understanding you’ll have. The problem is you have a wall up and can’t comprehend anything other than what you believe to be true.
