- This precalculus video tutorial explains how to graph inverse functions by reflecting the function across the line y = x and by switching the x and y coordinates and plotting the points using a data table. This video contains plenty of examples and practice problems on graphing inverse functions.

My math teachers taught me how to get the answers technically, but never explained to us WHAT, for example, an inverse function actually IS
Fax then she goes to the next question as if we already know also ik this 2 yrs ago but I gotta say it
@@bluehmtk9105 how did ur math class go 2 yrs later 😳
@@bluehmtk9105this is two years later to your comment and I relate. Acting like we’re familiar with this, I have never seen this in my life bro wth do you mean by restrictions 😭😭🙏
Yes same with me
MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor thank you for Graphing Inverse Functions and explaining the process step by step.
Literally just saved my math grade thank you
Great video I wish I watched this before my exam last week.
Mohammad Bolal Wafa 😂😂😂 i think you got fucked
Thank you so much for explaining all of these things! You are very appreciated
this video helped so much! thank you :)
Man, u are the best. When ever I'm stuck with any problem, wether I'm math or chemistry, u know, ur videos just kinda, nah! Not kinda, really solve all my problems
this seems quite easy and straight forward, thanks very much good sir!
a little confused
in last example about graphing inverse function the original function does not pass horizontal test as 2 x values has specific one y value
as i understand ed before there is no way to be an inverse function
Took me an hour to try this with ai help as well, but you taught me it 2 mins. Thank You!
I will pray for you! You are just saving my academic carreer...
Thank you. Great explanation
This channel is my bible. Thank you so much
I only source videos from you and kahn academy however, it seems you have more publications. Thank you for your time and contributions!!
I lov it talaga
Very helpful !
very helpful thank you
Thank you so much it really helped me
I understand much better 😊
True
Between the 4th minute and the 5th minutes in the video where tables were used, the inverse g is only a relation and not an inverse function !
Bruv I understand everything in class then forgot it after imao and now I’m here
4:58 best upside down two ever
lmao just the comment I was finding for - I thought I was the only one who noticed it lmao
@@Alkaide I was literally looking to say the same thing
im so confused on what y’all looking at
destroyer drago why can’t I see it tho
@@hayatburak9252 the two in the second table last line
where did you get the points from?
thank you very much you are so amazing!!!!
wtf is wrong with my teacher or its also the same in with you guys why ??? can't they teach us like this. Am feeling clever now 🤔
Thank you organic chemistry tutor dude you’re actually my pookie pants 🤞❤️
Thank you so much
Thank u
I love this channel, Thank you so much
I lovee youu so muchh, thank youu!!
Best youtuber
thank you!
Wow this helped me like fr
Has anyone purchased your merch? Just curious
No.
Thanks too
4:39 the 2 on the inverse column is how I feel rn
Sir, do you conduct any online classes for maths....
bro his voice is soo nice
I fucking love you man you've helped me for years, all my fucking teachers cant teach and I take all my math glasses at a early age, I'm currently in a glass with ppl 1 to 2 years older than me and the math teachers are always shit explainers
5:04 How can g(x) be a function when it gives back multiple possible values when we input X=1?? It does fail the vertical line test so I'm assume it's a mistake?! 🤔
Exam namin mamaya kaya pagdasal nyoko. Susmiyo
رائع👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
can i contact somebody and ask for help for my math? I am really struggling since it's not face to face
THANK UU
Sir, can we say g(x) and f inverse of x are same..!
I love you
Is is graphed as (input, output) or as (x,y)?
Both mean the same, x is the input and y is the output
how do u know which way the inverse is going?
the line of symmetry is going to be the guide in order to graph its corresponding inverse function/relation
Sana ol May Lugaw
Please make video by this function (x)square + (y)square =25 i don't understand how i prove it
In another words... the inverse is like a mirror that is invisible
😭i have my math exam next week.
doesn't your addendum go for the previous problem also?
2 years late but you are correct. At 4:35, the red f(x) line does not pass the horizontal line test.
I have one week to learn entire capculus .😵
Calculus*
do a parabola
Hi sir mhatty
Is the mirror line always y=x🤔
Please do answer me, people 😂
Bedazzled Turtle I was wondering the same thing, idk
Yes
The first graph of f(x) is not 1-1, and so f-inverse does not exist.
It exists because the domain has a restriction. It is not one to one if all values of the domain of the function is graphed.
@@kentv2.037 I didn't mean the first graph. I meant the graph at time stamp 4:00. It doesn't pass the horizontal line test and so doesn't have an inverse.
Ummm where are u getting the points from? Did u just make up random points and plot them?
aaliyah S you switch the x and the y values if you’re using numbers
@@kristine564 doesn't make sense
@@totallynotnorman4393 makes complete sense
@@aunmaqsood3129 what they mean is where did they get the values for the actual function, not the inverse one.
Inverse = inner VARs - grids welds. Vs outer. He never, studied calculus.
God loves you and he wants to save everyone, but in order for him to do that, you need to repent and be baptized. Also share his gospel with everyone you come in to contact with and keep his commandments 🙏🏾😘
Stfu religion doesnt have to be involved in every things!!!
Praying to god won't help me get this math homework done 💀
