If you have to scan the rock with a lab instrument to tell whether it's fake, then the diamond market has ended up in a very weird place.

That's very helpful info thank you. I wonder what makes the synthetic lab grown diamonds electromagnetic as opposed to the genuine real ones. What is the deal with that 🤔 very intriguing

You test Moisonite and it will test as a Diamond, you need to test for Moisonite. Otherwise your Moisonite will test as a diamond. There are things looking at it will tell with eye piece.

Moissanites have more dispersion/brilliance than Diamonds, and this Jeweler should know that they are not Simulants, but Diamond Alternatives.

cubics are very soft and get scratched. Do yourself a favor and get a moissanite or better yet a gorgeous lab grown.

Man lol I'm so tired of these "jewelers" I live in Michigan and I can't find anyone who will talk to me like a competent human being. It's crazy, I would consider my intelligence above common am not a stupid person by any means but good luck explaining this to any of these so called "jewelers" . It's like going to the doctor and telling them qhats wrong and what medication you need 🤣
