I'm sorry to hear you lost your parents. And both so close together. It's a wonder you can continue to function and make new videos and stuff. I know you said this guy was a "father figure", not really biologically related, but it doesn't matter. He was someone you looked up to. Who took care of you. Maybe he was someone who inspired you, or you could talk to him when times were tough. Now they're tougher than ever. This comment is way too long already, but I feel like fewer words just wouldn't be enough. To lose two people both so close to you in such a short time is a heartbreak I can't even imagine. I hope you find peace. I'm sure they already have.

email is much easier to spam someone with where as mail costs money to spam people, its prop not the exact reason, but if I were to do this, I would not use email.

I love how much time and effort you put into these videos. As a person with very little patience it’s really inspiring to hear you talk about a project you started in January or even two months ago that you were able to stick with and tell really interesting narratives and stories with. They always have a point even if that point changes thru production. As opposed to vlogs your channel is full of well-crafted mini documentaries and it’s just really cool to see as someone going into film myself.

I'd like to thank you, Austin. When you uploaded that PO box video, I decided to write you a letter. That letter has never made it to you - a few months later I received it back - but that experience fueled my desire for a penpal. Me and my US friend have been corresponding for quite a while now, and waiting for her letter fills me with excitement. I wasn't doing my best this year, and as I got better, writing became a really supportive and nice activity that kept the thoughts at bay....
So thank you for not receiving my letter. I send you love and good vibes.
I lost my dad this last year too and now helping take care of mom so I know how you're feeling. I'm glad you have a good creative outlet because that helps. I personally really enjoy your channel and it's been a great distraction in low times for me when I just needed to focus on something else for a little while. Just know that what you're putting out here is very appreciated by some.

I’m sorry about your loss, austin. When you mentioned you lost your father figure in January, it made me think about my step dad who i lost in January too. It was really unexpected. We had celebrated the new year and then a couple of days later he was gone. This year had been tough for my family without him around. I wish you strength and hope you stay strong. I love watching your videos, no matter what they are about. Continue to do what makes you happy.
