    I really wonder what it'd be like, if we still had the N&W rather than NS. Same with the PRR, NYC, B&O, and so on... also what if steam still had work on the line, alongside diesel-electric.

    Crossed the Ohio River at Columbus?

      It ended in Cincinnati and Columbus, I don't belive it ever crossed it past that. They were known to have a fast freight line through the Ohio River Valley, however.
