Were you a little nervous about bringing up the fact that his own team cheated to win the WS in 2018, while he did nothing to stop it? I know its not easy but you can't let this guy be a hypocrite like that.

I think if pitchers can throw at hitters a couple times before getting thrown out, hitters should be able to hammer throw their bat at pitchers a couple times.

They didn't cheat while they were playing Yu Darvish in LA. It was a home game thing... which they played worse at home that WS. lol. Also, 1, maybe 2 games that season, would a pitcher potentially face them. Those 1 or 2 games wouldn't cost a player millions in losses on contracts. Not justifying the BS the Astros did, and I enjoy watching Kelly pitch, but it wasn't as devastating as this discussion is making it. lol.
I love that the Astros are still going strong and Joe Kelly has largely faded from relevance.

6.08 ERA in 35 Innings last year there's a reason he's talking about books and not worried about next year.
I understand where his emotion comes from, but in my eyes, it still doesn't justify throwing at a batter. I know he threw behind them but a slip could have had that 96mph fastball going towards their head. There really isn't anything that justifies throwing at a player whether the intention is to hit them or not, it's immature and dangerous.
Hearing him say he does the same thing (making fun of/imitating his kid when he cries) to his 2 year old is also upsetting. There's better ways to parent, especially a 2 year old.....they're 2 years old!

So if we had just said “sorry” fans would’ve left us alone? Yeah, I thought as much. Why apologize for something that a lot of other teams were doing? Chris Sale, Lucas Giolito, and Steven Souza Jr said so themselves and I trust players and former players rather than fans. Honestly which seems more likely: there was one line organization cheating or it was a larger problem than Manfred wanted to let on and that’s why he said “I’ll let you keep the rings just don’t rat on anyone else please!!!
