    Ezcap321 actually supports 480p, only if you connect your capture card via USB "2.0" port. It also supports NTSC(720x480@60p) and PAL(720x576@50p) resolutions too. Even though XRGB color range is disabled in USB 2.0, that shoudn't be a big deal.

  • @ComfyShortz

    Ezcap has an entire line of capture cards and even their own website. I have an ezcap 294 and a ezcap 280 myself. They have literally been making these for decades it's just they tend to fly under the radar compared to the more mainstream options in NA. They are generally more reliable than the completely un-named brands. They tend to be popular in countries that have lower income brackets. Namely south America and Southeast asia as a lot of people in those regions stream using them. If you want retro capture the ezcap 284 is probably the best option it has analog inputs and works well with older resolutions. Though the ezcap 324 is the latest and greatest one with 4k60 passthru and 1440p/60 or 1080p/120 capture. Believe it or not this company will actually honor warranties I have done it before on some busted cards.

    • @The_Broyi
      @The_Broyi Před 2 lety +2

      The 294 is the PCI-e card, right? Could you kindly share your experience with it?
      I just found that card a couple days ago and I'm really thinking about getting one but I haven't been able to find some review in a language that I can understand. Can you use the preview to play directly from the PC? How much time have you had it? Have you experienced problems with that card?
      If you can reply I would really appreciate it.

      I've seen the other model but where I live the price is close to an elgato card.
      For what I see in your videos the quality is good, so now I'm more tempted to get one. You mentioned in your first comment that the company respects the guarantees, have you had any problem with the 294?

      @ComfyShortz Před 2 lety +3

    I picked up the EZCAP320 which is a Avermedia Bolt Clone Called the Game Dock Ultra it has 4k60 HDR passthrough and 4K30 capture. It can also capture HDR using the EZCAP software but you need an Nvidia GPU to capture HDR. It's pretty good for the money I paid $75 for it. I'm using it for 4K linux install tutorials but it seems to be a nice capture card except for the RGB vomit just like the avermedia. It also works great with my Panasonic G9 if that helps anyone!

    • @joesalyers
      @joesalyers Před 2 lety +1

      @@rias4020 Yea it has a bright and annoying RGB light on the bottom just like the Avermedia Livegamer Bolt. I wish it didn't have the light because if I use it with a camera I have to cover it up since the flickering RGB light from ezcap320 capture card can cause the camera's white balance to drastically change. RGB is fine if you like that sort of stuff but I personally don't care for it.

    • @gavsmith1980
      @gavsmith1980 Před 2 lety

      Yes, if the device sending video over HDMI detects a 4k capable device at the other end of the cable, such as this EZcap device, it’s possible to send a 4k video signal.
      I don’t know if it’s pure pass through so you’d need to use an HDMI splitter and 4K HDMI dummy plug in the video chain, or if the device itself registers as the end device capable of 4K, but either way, means you don’t need a 4k screen to capture a 4K output.

    Hey epos, I've just went on a binge on your videos tryna make a purchase on a capture card that makes the most sense for ps4 pro gaming. I have a 4k monitor, a ps4 and a laptop. Both laptop and ps4 are connected to the same monitor. I'm just wondering what my best option for a card is at this point, I've seen so many of your reviews now and I'm now just so confused as to whats what cause I honestly have no idea about any of this stuff lol. All I want is to be able to play my games on 4k like I regularly do and the stream output preferably be 1080p but it seems like some of these capture cards will end up making my ps4 output into the monitor only 1080? My hair is falling off by the second lol I should've just went with the first thing I had in mind which was evga xr1 (not lite) cause I guess (i know you hate that it's called advanced passthrough) but seems like a pretty legit option for ps4 gaming as I don't have to switch around my hdmi if I don't want to stream. Regarding this, I also wonder if my laptop is off, then power to the xr1 wouldn't be there wouldnt I have to switch it around anyway or just turn on the laptop? I didn't think this stuff was going to get so confusing lol I thought stuff was just plug n play and that's all she wrote hahaha.

I own the Y&H/ezcap320 since last year, as far as I can tell the 321 and 320 should be the same card just different casing? But ??? How did u get 1080p 120 to work? I do 1440p 60 and 1080p 60 but I can't get 120 to actually work? ATM I'm just assuming since I don't have a native 1080p 120 monitor that's why I can't enable it. My panel is a benq 1440p 144hz freesync, I clone/split my output vs passthrough. I've even tried making a custom resolution using the custom resolution utility and still no dice.
